Iām just gonna say, I feel like if midonik was scum sam would have jumped to defend him, and according to him sam has been active on their classcard. I donāt think scum sam would leave all the work to his hydra partner.
I do admit that the latter posts feel a bit LAMIST though (thank god ici isnāt here to tell me Im using the term wrong), but it reminds me of Wazza in ritual mafia 2 which ended up being town.
Cuz I doubt midonik is scum since he is pretty active for his first fol game and I doubt player like orange will go for newbie mislynch as a scum

To be honest, at this point FoL is a turnoff for me and I actually want you to mislynch me day 2 and see that scumreading a newbie is idiotic. I already said you arenāt going to go far by trying to scumread me as pocketing or whiteknighting or whatever else. You want to mislynch me for information, sure, go ahead, but reading me as scum for trying to voice my opinion how Isaac isnāt scum is the first step to failure. Isaac is town/fool, I donāt think he scumslipped. Iāll just go inactive until day 1 ends before you try and iso me further to find baseless suspicion.
thatās my point. Sam laying back makes me think they rolled a non-important BD class.

Honestly, midonik, in this situation I agree with you but mafia games are all about different situations and how to react to them. I think that scumreading newbies can sometimes be a good way to go about a read
Youāre saying itās THAT simple to caught a scum. How about to actually say who are you suspect the most currently and why.

Since Iām a newbie, I canāt really judge how someone is playing based on their past games, but at the very least I can say that I think Orange is going in a bit too deep on midonik
Newbies arenāt immune to scumreading. I do partly agree with Alice in that we shouldnāt treat them with kidās gloves, but I personally believe we should read noobs and veterans differently. I remember someone posting a link about it in a previous game.
From what I read thus far, the only person who could I could possibly label as scum is orange and thatās because he hasnāt made up his mind - sometimes he thinks Isaac is scum and Iām defending his āslipā, later he says Isaac is townie, later he says heās null on Isaac. Also canāt determine Alice yet but leaning more towards GK rather than EK
If you assume everyone is a veteran then you mislynch about 80% of the time while playing ToL. Thatās why I come here and think everyone is a fool if they act scum, because thatās what happens in ToL. Newbies act scum because they donāt know any different and more experienced scum just act fool. At that point it becomes a dilemma - is this person a newbie and actually accidentally looking suspicious or evil pretending to be a newbie. Thatās why you canāt treat us newbies like equals, youāve never played with any of us and canāt tell whether weāre experienced in social games even.
