So far I’ve relied on mostly GTH reads and gutreads. I took some time to think about this game and analyze it.
Telephone is wolf lol. Today he hasn’t been very villagery as much as Venus did (Venus is obviously still confused and I think it’s genuine)
Furthermore, Telephone the day earlier was very wolfy.
Insisted Shallow is town for no reason
Insisted Replay is scum for no reason
Insisted Venus is scum for no reason
Which, interestingly enough, was the complete opposite of what Replay proposed, looks like distancing
Telephone has not been seeming confused, but overly certain. This can come from town, but I don’t think so in this case.
The mistake Telephone made is that he voted Venus the day earlier. This was pretty much an opportunistic vote.
Two outcomes would have come out of Telephones play the day earlier:
- Replay is lynched and Telephone gets towncred
- Shallow is voted and Telephone gets to hammer
This distancing isn’t townie.
Funnily enough Venus is arguing with the wolf more than trying to convince the townie which is … weird.
He expressed an overconfidence that was clearly foolish if town.
He came to a rapid conclusion from Enigma/Venus to being the wolf to just Venus and even voted him with confidence, instead of staying on their top scum read.
I think it’s just more likely trying to open possibilities to a quicker win rather than simply overconfidence. If he fails, he can just get towncred off Replay. Replay AtE’d too much and it became performative to the extent he didn’t really care all that much?
Once again, he expressed little argument for why he thought Shallow is town.
Their whole thing just felt… too convenient. Pretty sure Telephone knows more than he let on and his D3 is evidence of that.
This is a mess.
Both sides are arguing and their arguments are disoriented.

That hardly does any convincing, for one, you are in a fucking thunderdome. You need to convince Enigma that certain parts are scummy, because right now it just looks like both sides are conf!biasing because they know each other’s alignments and not actually analyzing.
Venus is correct that his overconfidence is an issue. However…
What he needs to do is take on two perspectives and decide which one is more likely:
Is it more likely that he’s overconfident town?
Or more likely that he’s a wolf who hopes to end the game quicker?
And provide evidence for the latter.
