Character Rule

Velonia:

  1. Your character, should they be a magic user, should have a method of controlling magic, what this is is up to you, it could be a wand or potions or harnessing mana through leylines
  2. Depending on how your magic works, it might not work on other planes, or it may be limited.

Callinety Falls:

  1. Your character, should they have metahuman powers, may only have 1 power or 1 type/style of power
  2. Callinety Falls is basically present day earth but with crazy powers, so keep it modern and save the crazy technology for the sci fi world
  3. Remember, your character may be a metahuman, but they’re still human, so don’t make them an immortal supergod when their actual power is making fireballs

Grand Peninsula:

  1. Steam power has its limit, even though on this plane those limits may be seen as unrealistic, they still exist
  2. Steam power is not infinite, it needs water and fuel, sometimes you may not be able to get these things, in this case your machines won’t work, deal with it
  3. You’re only human, any extraordinary abilities your character may possess are due to machines and invention, not any sort of special power.

Eleos-12:

  1. Your character, should they be from an alien race, must have purely defined abilities and shortcomings, you don’t have to state what they are, but remain consistent
  2. You may have all sorts of crazy technology, but the whole nexus thing is pretty new, so you can’t communicate or teleport between dimensions using your technology.

Appearance: Skittish woman. Medium height with long wavy brown hair and face full of freckles. Wears a blue overall.
Backstory: A mechanic that follows her father footstep. Her dream is to explore the world and discover treasures.
Gadgets: Octo Arm: Long tentacle like arms that comes out of a backpack. Has a high finesse and strength.
Steam grenades: A grenade that will release hot steam shortly after the pin is pulled.
Skill: Mechanic, scavenging, sea navigation

Species: Mieunite - A small bipedal creature that is covered in fur. They have very large ears, two small legs and arms with paws at the end. Often kept as pets on some planets, a common Meiunite has no offensive capabilities whatsoever. They communicate with each other through purring. (Think a Furby but instead of bird features, it’s cat features.) Highly intelligent.
Special Abilities: Ridiculously cute and intelligent. Can understand human speech but can not speak it.
Appearance: Brown and White fur. Roughly the size of a small cat.
Backstory: Spritz is a small Meiunite that got seperated from her family when she was young. She somehow tumbled into Callinety Falls and has lived there ever since. You’ll occasionally see her eating leftover food near restaraunt trash cans.

Backstory: The bastard son of a minor noble. After his mother died in the sacking of a city, he went to wander the world.

Backstory: Katie was born to an average suburban family, however exhibited her strange power from a very young age, she does her best to live a relatively normal life(outfit choice aside), she works in the Callinety Library
Special Ability: Katie defies gravity, and floats around as if she were in space, she is unable to disable this effect, even though it can be annoying and inconvenient, although she says she would not want to, on account of never learning how to walk

Grappling Hook - This wrist-mounted device burns fuel to heat a small tank of water, turning it into steam and raising the pressure, when the valve is released, the pressure fires out a hook on a tightly wound cable, the cable retracts due to tension, allowing Annie to move from place to place very fast
Water Tank - Annie carries around a water tank on her back that contains pressurized water, she uses it to refill any devices that may need it
Other Devices - Annie may have other devices that haven’t been revealed yet

Backstory: An ex soldier, Liza became a Mercenary once the war ended, taking any job related to killing she can get, she enjoys killing and the thrill of the hunt, and although her psychoanalyst has described her as “dangerous”, she shows a lot of restrain whilst not on a job, and has said “I only kill what I’m supposed to”, the EPD(Eleos Police Department) has her on a watch-list, just in case she’s “supposed” to kill someone important

Equipment: Solar Rifle - A light but effective weapon that turns the sun’s rays into powerful bolts of energy, each bolt does as much damage as a standard rifle bullet
Ion Pistol - An easily concealed hand gun, powered by an ionic cell, that can incapacitate or kill depending on the setting

Backstory: Helen Quinn was an ordinary teenager, but when a miniature particle accelerator, a box of rabid badgers and a jar of creamy peanut butter collided, they send out a shockwave that imbued her with superpowers [citation needed, Helen Quinn may not be a reliable source of information on this delicate subject]
Special Ability: Manipulating Cosmic Energy, this allows her to fly and shoot cool spacey beams from her hands, as well as imbuing her muscles with the energy to make herself stronger or faster but not superhumanly so

Backstory: A relatively normal guy that lives with his sister. He only recently finished his Masters in engineering and in his free time tinkers with whatever he can get a hold of. He has few friends but he loves his family deeply. Owns a small workshop near his apartment.

Special Ability: Superspeed (and the ability to speedup/slowdown perception of time and thought that go with it)

Skills: Masters engineer, knows programming and electromechanics. Basic knowledge of other science fields.

She never went to college thanks to support from family and works as a freelance communications advisor. Nowadays she leaves City a lot now that James can take care of himself but they still have a tight bond.

CHARACTER INFO (first rp char ever woah)

Name/Alias: Zachary Kidd

Appearance: A shy boy. Small height with short blonde hair and blue eyes. Wears goggles on the top of his head, and a backpack containing his gadget. Typically wears a white shirt and brown trousers.
Backstory: An apprentice of one of the scientists that discovered the Nexus Hub. He achieved this due to his excellent intelligence, and now permanently resides in the lab. (Until now i guess)
Gadgets: Four Arms (this was an idea i had before reading this , shocker): Zach’s greatest indepedent creation. To make up for his petite size and horrible fighting ability, these arms were created as a means of defense. When fully powered up , it can boost him into the air , allowing him to achieve pseudo-flight. It also allows him to block medium scale explosions without doing him too much harm. Because it is a work in progress, its main flaw is energy consumption , and Zach needs a large amount of water to keep it maintained.
Smart-Goggles: Goggles that allow Zach to see how much power his Four-Arms have , as well as other vital information.

When she learned she couldn’t speak outa fury took over her and is determined to do something about the superheroes going around unchecked

Backstory: his parents died in a car accident when he was 13. Because of this, he tends to visit the local graveyard most days.
Ability/s:
somehow create stuff thst breaks the laws of physics
Be able to see and communicate with people who’s souls persist after death (for this im playing it like the majority of people dont persist, only those with particularly fierce emotion/force of will, like mother’s who died protecting their child in a fire or something). He can turn this off, but it is passively on due to using for practically 2 years straight. Sadly, he has been utterly unable to find his parents.

Appearance: Long and Slender man. Wears a hoodie and a mask that makes his face look hollow. Wears All Black. He has never been seen at night.
Backstory: Edgeshadow. Known for being super edgy. It may make you laugh at first. But he took it too far. He Murdered his friends and family to keep up the persona. He set fire to his local neighberhood because they mourned the victims. He then attempted to kill the president , but was stopped. He was apprehended and jailed. He has broken free from jail and joined the (Villain thingy group) He tends to talk to himself.
Special Ability: Shadowtouch. Upon touching a shadow with his right hand , he absorbs it and can mindfuck someone greatly. The extent to his power when you are in this state is unknown. A telltale sign that someone has been a victim of him is if they have no shadow. Doing critical damage to him can break them free. He has been seen to hold up to five people in this illusion.

Skill: Shadows,How to edgy, Uses of weapons ,Cognitive empathy. (i think thats the term)

Others: Dragon is the leader of a major drug ring in Callinety Falls. He shows a liking toward mafia style organisation.
Special Ability: Drake Physiology
As the name suggest, Dragon is able to turns into a drake-like creature. With enhanced physical capabilities. Scales cover his skin when he change, while his nails and teeth turn into claws and fangs.

a endless hall of bones. all those who enter his domain never return. in days before he never went out but recently undead have been pouring out to attack nearby villages dragging those who die back though the Labyrinth. the lich lord is no longer sitting down.

Species: A Lich. a creature formerly human that was transformed by a ritual thats secrets are near impossible to find. they are known to live forever as long as they feast on souls (Only known lich to exist at this point of time)

Soul Stealing When a nearby creature dies the lich lord is able to steal its soul trapping it in a pure black crystal
Master of the dead The lich lord is able to rise the corpse of any creature into a undead that has all the ability of who was rised but is physically weaker
Voice of dendar using the voice of dendar the lichlord is able to control any undead that lacks a soul.
The Green Flames of Dendar Can in power his attacks with the flames of dendar to cause a fire that is hotter then normal fire
scythe’s bond you are able to teleport the weapon to your hand when you are away from it

Has a sword by his side when he is out of his home. Has a black sling bag with items inside.

BIO: The young man, was sent out of home to prove himself. Unable to return home, He has worked for 7 years and made his name as a brewer. He had also trained intensively on his martial arts, and went back home, only to find the home vacant, with the morgues of his family. Who has killed his family? He would not rest until he finds their killers. His brother remains missing. He wanders aimlessly in the streets currently, but will that change?
Special Ability: Flexibility- Able to Predict movements and Evade attacks with ease.
Skills: Able to Brew Wine using ingredients (If available) gets additional effects, Intoxication immunity (Drunk), Self-taught Martial Arts (Only Practioner Left?).

Alvine is capable of summoning mirrors at will and controlling them around as he wishes.

Backstory: A hotheaded teenager who seeks glory and fame wherever he can find it. Not particularly smart or brave, but is incredibly reckless when angry.
Special Ability: Adamant skin. At will, he can turn his skin to the hardest steel, protecting his body from harm. While hardened, he can morph and bend the shape of his limbs at will. (They revert to normal when his skin un-hardens.)
Skills: Cooking, Hand-To-Hand Combat, Athletics. Not very smart.

Species: Lizardfolk

Fire Magic - can control and manuplate including but not limited to Firebolt, Wall of Flames, and various other fire-related attacks.
Illusion Magic: Can disguise self for short period of time, as well as sent telepathic messages to and from select objects or persons.
Skills: Acrobatics. Natural Armour. (his scales act as naturally occuring armour - will speak to GM about exactly how defensive said armour is), plays the Bagpipe, juggling, knife-throwing.

Backstory: The child of two travelling merchants, born in Northern Velonia. Taking the profession of his parents, he has wandered the world. In a life and death struggle with some bandits, he discovered his magical talent when he froze them to death. After 3 years of magical studies, he left.
