The two men clash their swords, and they trade blows in rounds, each displaying huge skill in their swordscraft. Finally, both of them pushes their swords into the ground, and hug each other.
“My brother! It’s been so long!” Kaito exclaims.
“It has, indeed.” Arthas replied.
They both start laughing. The hearty laughter can be heard by the trio.
(Btw, I believe there is a fairy here, that was sleeping by the portal?, This place I assume to be part of the forest, not a battlefield yet)
Arthas: “That’s just our way of greeting each other.”
Kai: “You can’t believe how this guy usually screws things up!”
Arthas: “Hey!”

so, whats the deal with this place? wheres the cities?

so, medieval? based on what i’ve heard about the various things here, probably
and with that tech we just saw that kinda makes me suspect… magic?
is that about right?
Kaito: “Man don’t cha think this guy is funny?”
Arthas: “Yeah, there is magic around here, and lots of different stuff here too.” Shows Ave the potion
“Like these, pretty amazing right? Like the potion bottles from RPGs…”
Kai: “Don’t indulge him, he’s gonna go off about the wonders of these things”
Takes the potion from Arthas, and smells it
Silently nods and gives it back to Arthas
Arthas: “This guy is a magician! In his uni-”
Kaito covers Arthas’ mouth, causing him to gag, and whispers something to him. Arthas first looks at Kaito with confusion, then rolls his eyes.
Arthas shrugs
“Shikras has fallen.”
“That man is formidable indeed.”
“We get him alive at all costs.”
“There were reports about a mirror guy escaping our grasp. It doesn’t matter, we have the city.”

Somewhere in Velcona, a vampire sleeps.
A skeleton creeps up on a prostitute and takes her flesh as his own.
Ixen, now safely within the Nexus Hub, seeks a physcian to tend to his wounds.
Victoria Winters lays in her bed, staring up at the ceiling, as she tinkers with her design.
Lance walks up to Kai and Arthas
“Are you two done butting heads or what? I’m tired and I’d like to find the closest hotel.” He points to a town in the distance. “Let’s go there and find somewhere to sleep.”

"Achoo! " Alvine sneezes again. The air is humid in the forest. He doesn’t like it too much.
"I wish Dyne is here… " he mutters to himself.
Callinety Falls
Downtown, at a small clinic.
"Yep. Go bring this receipt to the pharmacist next door and you’re good to go, " giving a pat on the little boy’s head, and a piece of paper with what seems to be scribble written on it to the accompanying mother, Triage sends his last patient off. He moves his attention to the stack of letters on his table.
“Ah…this is troublesome.” he says to himself, sighing. Invitations to perform physical enhancement surgery. Some promises wealth, while others are tainted with threats. Nevertheless, they are still invitations.
Triage swipes them all to a trash can. He slouches on his chair, staring blankly at the ceiling.
“…I want to go home and play…” his chemical research comes into mind.
