“A bag of bone with the power of the council. He got the position in one day while I’ve been coveting for one for years.”
Yale gives out a bitter chuckle.
“Can’t be helped, huh?”
“A bag of bone with the power of the council. He got the position in one day while I’ve been coveting for one for years.”
Yale gives out a bitter chuckle.
“Can’t be helped, huh?”
“Haha. Indeed. You still have my respect, Yale.” She laughs,
“I will still have to await orders from my sister. She saved me after all.”
"I do, I do. Yours, and around thirty members of the coven. Quite funny how much everyone like you even when you are not formally in charge, eh? "
Yale heads toward the stairs, out of the underground ruin.
“Meet me near the old gate if you’re sick of the skeletons, you hear? Though, you better do it before midnight…”
With another chuckle, Yale walks off toward the surface.
Rina leads Liz to healer camp.
“Hm… do you want to be here? Healer is nice, but I think it’s a bit boring.”
“Don’t worry! Elly says the healer’s camp is the safest! She will also come to the healer’s camp first!” She beams.
The girl seems full of energy, jumping around in the healers camp. Bringing @SadSnake Skyla around.
“And indeed…”
“My sister. If we are to break off from the coven, now is the best chance to do so.” Desia says.
@AgentBoin
"Hm… safest but not fun. How can I make an epic prose if I don’t see the battle up close? "
Rina pouts.
“But… Elly told me to stay at the healer’s camp in case of anything…”
“Mom told me once not to went out of the village on my own.”
The Lich Lord along with Serkos go to the tomb and takes there sit in the room
The four other members say nothing. They sit silently.
now to business. as you all know I am the only lich that exists right now. if you all go to war with Velonia you all will have a chance to unlock the secrets of lichdom.
The power to live forever as I have lived for 1000 years
Desia stays outside the room, giving out instructions to the skeletons.
She enters the room.
“Sorry, but my sister is not feeling well today. I have come here to notify you of her leave.”
One of them was going to say something, but before they do, the door creaks open. A necromancer quietly whisper to the member closest to the door before leaving. The member sighs.
“Elder Lich, it is not that we are not interested in fighting Velonia, but the organisation has been in an internal struggle for a while.”
internal stuggle? tell me what has been happening
Desia leaves the room.
“It all started amidst our fight with the Grand Magus.”
The Death Coven had declared war against the Holy Capital. Numerous mages and knights were sent to their death everyday. As it was known, the council held the power to make decision over the coven, and we were the one to manage all strategy during the war.
But disatisfaction increased from a small number of our own necromancers. Stratagem often requires sacrifice from a small number of our group, and this leads to an opposition, especially coming from the younger generation.
This strife escalates almost to the point of an internal war, but few cool headed necromancers managed to surpress it. The internal struggle cost us the war, and we were forced to sign the treaty with the Grand Magus.
"I suppose you have recognised Yale, who was the referee of the match? "
yes I did what about yale?
“He is one of the necromancer that managed to calm down the coven. Frankly, he is more troublesome than the rest. He showed sympathy toward the opposition, yet did it in a subtler way. His faction is a recognisable power block in the coven now.”
