(non. it shall be rp’d)
oh, hey! its you!
(i forget, is that the one on the airship or his brother)
(The one on the airship)
“You’re here, where’s the old man?” Kaito asks, scratching his head while looking around.
The priest follows Ixen to the room.
“Sit down or lay down, your choice. No worry, it’s not painful.”
You see her looking at an map, clearly deep in thought
“Sir, would you like to have one last drink together. One last time”
Ixen lays down.
“Of course, to celebrate your promotion!” She chuckles.
She takes a bottle of wine from the wooden shelves, and pours the wine into two cups. She hands one over to Egnatius.
“Congratulations, Commander Egnatius.” She smiles.
“You will always be my commander, I want to focus on Military Theory in the rest of career”
you mean the guy who’s friend owns the airship?
hes back there a bit gestures in that direction
i saw him looking up at the sky, and then jumping for some reason, i dont really get it
he looks up at the sky
woah, thats freaky, man
The priest sits next to Ixen. From her sleeve, she takes out a glittering coin and closes it in her palm.
“I’ll start then.”
She cups her hand against the stump of Ixen’s severed arm. A moment after, he can feel something cool pressed against his skin. The cool sensation soon spread all over his upper body, creating a soothing effect.
The priest utters a few words under her breath, sounding like a prayer of some sort. The room feels seperated from the rowdy bar, tracending into a different place.
The healing doesn’t happen slowly, nor does it happen in an instant. Instead of an arm growing from the remaining stump, a bright outline of an arm appears where the arm should be, solidifying into existence.
When the priest stops, an arm can be seen on what was a stump. The whole process takes around 45 minutes.
She sighs, putting her cup down.
“You have valour, a gem among men. However, you tend to rush things… While that brings you results, it will eventually be your undoing…”
“If there are any questions, you can always come to this old lady for help.
Here’s a tip, the undead army will most likely mindlessly follow orders, so if you can bait them out, they won’t be able to listen to orders, therefore giving us an opportunity to weaken their forces.”
“And… Keep these men with you, leave no men behind. That’s what we have always abided by. When in a tough spot, gather all the men you have and retreat, we do not need to give the enemy more bodies to use.”
“These men have been with me for decades, and they are battle hardened.” She refers to an old picture. “Treat them with respect, and you will earn their respect. They will fight for you to their last breath. Do you understand?”
Ixen looks at his black-scaled arm in atonishment.
“Thank you! Thank you so much! How can I ever repay you?”
He gropes around his money pouch.
“Here. Take my gold. It’s all I can do to repay you.”
“I doubt he’s gonna come,” Kaito says, looking in the direction where Ave pointed.
“Well, he can see us from up here, depends on whether he wants to come to us or not. Follow me!”
“Oh, and you ain’t gonna be the youngest now, haha!”
“Sir, you were the one who wanted results to be fair. We are on a cusp on a new age, the traditional societies will be torn down by this Nexus Hub. If Velonia doesn’t unify behind literally anybody the societies will fall.”
“What did I say about payment? I tell you, your story worth more than any pretty penny or gold.” She refuses the offer right away.
“Anyway, I need to hurry. I still have a house call, paid in the front to fulfill. Thanks for using my service.” She gives Ixen a small bow and leaves the room.
(wut)
“Haha! This stubborn old lady no longer has her sharp mind, I’m too old for this.” She laughs, drinking the cup of wine.
“May your leadership lead us to greater heights.”
“Sir. Listen the fall of this realm will come from some damn thing in the Nexus Hub!”
Ixen admires his new arm for a bit the falls straight to sleep.
eh, i guess…
