Given that Marshal claimed that she was the target of Piercing Gaze it’s probably a cult game. There is not much reason for Marshal to make a lie that would make us believe it is a Cult game as any alignment.

Thank you, I thought there was 3 cultists and one didn’t claim to have any negative effect on them.
presumably there’s a third cultist now because conversion, but (if marshal is to be believed, which i lean towards) the cult started with a CL and a Ritualist
the third cultist (assuming convert succeeded, which is likely) could be any cultist, but by pure math odds is most likely a ritualist and least likely an apostle

Even if Marshal was lying there isn’t really a reason to make us think its an Unseen game as that could easily be disproven and there’s little benefit that could arise from it
If Marshal is ever cultseen they are persumably cult
I still think Marshal is neutral though and I believe that the Ritualist PG was used on her

Because Cult cannot convert and kill in the same night, and the best move as cult is almost always to convert N1
I see, what is there ultimate goal or wincon?
Conversion is much stronger than killing (since it removes a vote from BD and adds one to the Cult, as well as giving Cult thread control, new mechanical power, etc) so is basically always used N1 over killing
Whereas Unseen only get 2 conversions the entire game (the second is unavailable until N4) and can both kill and convert at the same time
Eliminating all the BD or achieving a situation where it is impossible for BD to eliminate all the Cult
Little reason for her to do so in my opinion. There’s virtually almost no benefit and the risks are simply not worth it.
