Because Marl usually is so accurate on me that I think people believe his read on me a fair amount.

Itā€™s basically what Nap said, but to explain it further, what I usually like to do is to try to look at possible motivations behind the posts and whether theyā€™re more likely to have good intentions

Iā€™m still not sure what PKR was trying to go for with that, though. It seems like needless hedge because he was asked about his read on Marl, him being able to fake scumreads doesnā€™t really have anything to do with it

They can be, yes

We often get more info from flips and have an easier time reading other players when we can go look at how they treated dead villagers or wolves, but we can still make reads without relying on them

Get yourself into the mentality of townhunting rather than scumhunting!(that doesnā€™t mean you shouldnā€™t scumhunt, but I would prioritize on townhunting)
