No deaths Night one

Anyone who kills night one is doing so randomly. this is not fun.
I propose no killing class be able to kill the first night. The following are what the killer classes would be able to do n1:

Assassin
gets to forage (like right now)

Reaper + poss
gets to investigate 1 player, learning their faction.

Knight
same as princess’s flirt.

hunter
same as princess’s flirt

reaper, poss, knight, and hunter will be able to make more informed kills later on.

Um. Why would a neutral killer give a shit if he targets someone randomly?

Honestly, this basically sounds like that one player who got salty he was killed night one and now wants night one kills banned.

And this is coming from the guy who got salty because I was outed as Possessor due to a Day 2 mass claim that honestly wasn’t even needed so early in the game.

(It has less to do with the fact that I was executed and the more to do with the method that led to my execution.)

So no killing anyone night one but Investigative get a free night to find said Killers? No…

Don’t try to fix something that isn’t broken.

Why would a killer just choose to give the investigatives time to find it?

if you don’t want to kill randomly you can choose not to kill

If anyone should not kill night one, it is bd only

Agree.

Evil needs to reduce total majority, unlike BD Killer who need to pick their target carefully.

but i wouldn’t have that investigative ability, would I?

I was not salty when I wrote this post. I do get salty when I die night one.

Any kills made the first night are entirely random. kills d2 might be informed.

maybe n2 killers could kill twice? poss possesses one, kills another, reaper reaps 2.

well you’d still be a Killer class so why investigate in the first place?

To follow on from this. Unseen/cult know who they need to kill for the most part, as do nks. There specific class is pointless knowledge

It makes sense for a BD killer randomly killing someone, but doesn’t matter for anything else.

You can’t be killed by The Prince on n1. That’s pretty much all we need, IMO (so far). If The Knight does it and he’s wrong, he dies so lesson learned (and statistics is not on his side).

Neutral IS inclined to kill anyone and everything. Unseen IS inclined to kill non-Unseen. Cult IS inclined to kill non-Cult.

It’s like telling a Psychopath not to kill your grandma because you want him to check her out first…

My problem is not that it is not in the unseen favor to kill first night (it is).

My problem is that the first night can be to vindictive of the first game, and it is just a random kill. A random selection of numbers can either kill the sheriff/prince, or the alchemist who was planning on siding with unseen.

Cult should probably convert night one anyway.
Unseen can forage for poison.

And neutral killers, under this rule change, would kill twice n2.

I tend to wait 10-20 minutes for games. So dying n1 after all that time feels bad, to say the least.

It happens

Lots of stuff happens. This one is preventable.

So basically, this is your post:

I die Night 1 alot, please make it so I won’t.

I don’t die alot n1.

I don’t care if it is me or someone else. Whoever dies night one died from chance.
(Well I do care if I die n1 but my points still stand)
