I suggest Eavesdrop, and yes. I know it used to be an Apostle ability (I miss old Apostle, tbh. I miss dead chat as a whole) but I think it’s a cool name for this ability

tbf, Snoop used to be on Marshal so Noble having scum ability names is nothing new.

Eavesdrop it is in my opinion.

Personally I think it should be 3 mind warps and 2 spy’s rather than 4/1. Only 1 use of spy’s might not be enough to stop prince out meta.

And Mindwarp also works on non-investigatives

Now that you are reworking it anyways. Is it a possibility to make the day abilities silent? Noble is pretty confirmable, but this allows Aristocrat turned Assassin or Apostle turned CL more breathing time. Simultaneously Possessor has an easier time fake-claiming Noble. Mystic has a good reason for their day ability to have to be confirmable, because nobody would trust the message otherwise. Noble’s day abilities are purely mechanical voting power and it is not necessary that the court knows that voting power came from a Noble. It could only show up in tiebreakers for instance. The forced voting can remove the message and only have the forced vote take effect if it matters, when the extra forced noble vote, would result on the person being on trial, but still not notify the person who is forced.

Note that while that would definitely work for Nobe Twins I don’t think it would help for Political Pressure. This is because it’s impact is both visible, easy to achieve on purpose and hard to take advantage of by other’s (trying to force a tie vote to prove a noble makes it super easy to execute or pardon the guy being proved with)

Or make it so you can choose what class your target appears as. And maybe combine frame and defile(they’re both very similar anyways).

Agreed, that’s my main issue with the new maid spy. It should just be changed so it works like the current maid spy but remains on its target until you change targets, like sheriff’s scout. I would be fine with it seeing all whispers for aristocrat and apostle though. And noble twin should be replaced with private matter.
