The new Maid Spy is trying to solve an issue with the ability. Namely that if you don’t know who the person that will be the focus of the whispers is then you can’t use the ability with any degree of effectiveness. However if you do it during the day with unlimited uses then every conversation would be assumed to be listened in on making it also useless. Thus 3 uses of seeing all whispers is a middle ground.
You only need 1 target to prove yourself anyway. And even if you didn’t political pressure is impossible to reasonably fake.
Alright, but it still doesn’t fix the problem of noble being easily confirmable. Shouldn’t there be less easily confirmable classes, not more?
But that also makes it impossible for possessor to fakeclaim noble. Unless possessors current passives were combined into one and they were given another passive which allowed them to hear all whispers, then I would be fine with it.
Herbalist would also be changed. Defile could be replaced with an ability which fake cures poison/bleeding.

Possessor already can’t fake Noble. Nothing has changed here. Noble was never a poss fakeclaim anymore than it was an assassin fake claim.
Remember that once a class can confirm during the day you can’t get any more confirmable. So making his night ability’s all also tell everyone in the game “X IS A NOBLE!!!” would change nothing in terms of how confirmable he is.
Even with that passive a Possessor wouldn’t be able to claim noble because it is the day ability’s that people check for rather than the whisper reading.

I hate this rework, and i can sum up why in a single line
Do not remove snoop
Being able to spy on someone’s will is one of the most original and interesting ideas this genre has seen. Removing that makes the noble - and the entire game - far less interesting.
People can already write a convincing fake will to fool anyone looking, and they can use their private log for incriminating things. You’ve already provided the features necessary to ameliorate any problems with log snooping, there are no problems with it.
DO NOT REMOVE SNOOP
We are removing snoop.
Reason being people can just put their logs in private notes

Duchess seems to be in a good place imo, it just needs to find faction and class type.
All in all I’d be most happy if Maid/Mistress were added and the Mistress got it

I’ve never seen your maid idea before. However I’m not much of a fan of snoop being on a bd role. I find full log snooping unfun as I would usually keep two logs as scum but it’s not quite possible with a potential snoop. However I find snoop to be very fun to be on the using end.
I wouldn’t mind seeing it return if it only showed one half of the journal.
