I still think the solution would be to buff Mental Blur or change it into another really powerful ability even if it tells people that there is an illusionist. Mastermind should never convert an outed mystic to begin with if they want a class that can prove themselves, they should however consider converting a mystic if the risk is worth the reward.
No matter what you do with Conduit or Link Minds, if itās on the Illusionist, people just wonāt talk.

Most people just want to say their claim then move on. They donāt want to have some in-depth talk where they try to deduce who is evil, and you canāt force them to. Theyād rather just not talk and increase their chances of losing. Not everyone has the same mindset as people playing FoL.

Also just realized the biggest issue. In the morning people would likely say who they were linked to through Conduit.
This means that it would be suspicious if the Illusionist linked themselves every night.
Then the Illusionist would have to link two other people and people would end up using codewords.
When you end up trying to claim Psychic, you would get executed for not knowing them, so in the end nothing will change.
Maybe the wouldnāt use codewords, but you still wouldnāt know what anyone said.

But imo we still need to replace mind warp with something since Aristocrat has a much better frame
They just work differently. One is better for if you know who is and investigative class, the other is better if you know who they might target.

Moreover, Mind Warp can affecr on almost every class in game, when Frame is only working if the investigator classes checked someone who just got framed.
But yea Mental Blur need to be replaced, Period.

Iām obsessed with Neigbhours but only in a forum setting. People wouldnāt know what to do with them in a turbo. (Turboās the FM name for a game at ToL speed, ignore me)
Mental Blur should just be buffed tbh. Once again, if youāre claiming Mystic as Illusionist youāre doing it wrong. Illusionist really dosenāt need to claim Mystic, because converting an outed Mystic is ew
In anycase. Right now Illusionist is one of the best mid game converts. Aristocrat is definitely the best late game convert due to the extra votes and confirmability. Marshal is the best early game converts.
The other converts tend to be less useful but maintain that usefulness for longer.

I think you misunderstand the Illusionist ability thing (they can still hear if they link two others); but your first point, despite being incredibly disheartening to consider, also has merit
I like Apostle and Aristocrat getting Frame and Mind Warp though, itās healthy for the game for there to be framed targets more often than just Scorned
