Madoka turn toward Spade and Finch
“Well, I guess you kinda scared him off…”
Madoka turn toward Spade and Finch
“Well, I guess you kinda scared him off…”
“Er… I fail to see what I’ve done in this situation?”
“Of course.” Spade winks
She faces Madoka “Yeah… That happens often, not sure why.”
“While I appreciate your enthusiasm, some people may not be comfortable around people and that sudden raising maybe one of the reasons.”
“You are still here? I guess you REALLY like eardropping.”
“Hey look. One of your buddies invited me to the party and I accepted, so here I am. I wanted to see what the commotion was. Sorry that introducing myself is rude nowadays.”
Finch rolls his eyes.
“Name’s Finch, not like you’d care to learn it.”
Madoka sighs
“It isn’t about introducing yourself. It’s more about what have you done. Since we’re going to be in party, we shouldn’t hold grudge against anybody. As long as you will understand, I don’t mind if you would be in team.
Talking about my name, I’m known as Madoka, as you can see I’m using Staff.”
Finch nods simplistically and lightly throws his sword from one hand to the other.
“Swordsman here. I hope this ‘getting off on the wrong foot’ doesn’t persist. I’d like to level up but it would appear the game’s having a little bit of trouble so it’s chat-time for now.”
Spade loses some of her energy in her voice “We need to build a closer bond if we’re going to be a team. It should be second nature after all.”
Madoka nods as sign of agreement
I don’t think there is many monsters nearby. We probably should go somewhere else.
Youko stares at the group, and he feels a small hint of envy
“Ehhh, well. Sometimes the most exciting points of a team come from their dysfunctionality. But for now, I agree that we should just end up hating each other for our flaws, not plain-up hating each other.”
Madoka grins after imagining something stupid
I wonder if we can learn any specialities later on.
“It wouldn’t surprise me. I’m not sure what I’d like to go into, mind you. Not at this stage. I’ll have to see how my fighting technique develops, and see what fits my build the best.”
“…Or I could just oddball it. Min-maxing never really was my thing.”
Youko wonders out loud “Damnit…why can’t I deal with people. Maybe, I should find other people to work with I guess.”
“I hope you aren’t going into Glass Cannon Build so I wouldn’t need to watch over you.”
“To be honest, I want to be a healer, but I’m not sure how I can do that.” She gives a small frown
“I dunno about Glass Cannon. We appear to already have some decent damage-dealers so I might try a Tank build.”
Finch picks at his beginner’s threads.
“…Not in these clothes, mind you. I’ll need some actual armour if I want to go anywhere like that.”
Youko gets up and heads to Finch “Uhm…s-sorry for interrupting…b…ut…I can…be a gl-glasscannon if you want me too”
After seeing Youko, Madoka starts laugh again. It sounds so innocent and no one can believe it.
