“Please, Not again…”
Madoka is heading toward direction where Spade goes
Ruri blushes slightly.
“That was just my grand entrance, haha… but yes, I’m alright.”
She looks Spade over.
“Hm… you’ve already fought something, haven’t ya? What’s the combat like? How’s it compare to everything else you’ve played, and what else do you play? I’m Ruri, what’s your name?”
Ruri grins, waiting expectantly to hear the responses to her barrage of questions.
Spade takes in a large gulp of air before she responds “So you see, fighting here is like fighting in real life but instead of fighting actual people, you’re fighting against snails and boars. I haven’t played a lot of video games, but I’m one mean poker player and let me tell you, it’s very relaxing compared to this.” Out of breath, Spade tries to grasp for more air in big waves “The name’s Spade, by the way.”
“Well, nobody’s tried to put a blade through my spine, an arrow through my neck, or set me on fire, so I’d say that’s a good start as far as being able to trust people in a PVP setting goes.”
After short time, Madoka sees Spade
“Here you are. And what’s up with this sudden run?”
“There’s a girl… that fell from the sky… and got herself hurt.” She still tries to get more oxygen
“Well, consider that two people that have your back. I wouldn’t worry so much, I don’t let bad things happen to my friends.”
“Poker… huh. I guess a lot of people are playing this game, that’s good to hear! More competition though~”
She pauses for a moment.
“I guess I’m gonna meet up with a couple new people, try and get a grinding session going… would that interest ya?”
“Why wait? You have all the new friends right here!” She points to Madoka “Madoka and I are part of this giant party that’s totally gonna kick everyone’s asses!”
“Woah - yeah, yeah! That sounds awesome, I dunno if, like, guilds are an official thing… but even if it’s not, with all the social stuff, oughta be some sorta de facto system that winds up in place eventually, and we’re gonna be the best guild there is!”
Ruri grins.
Madoka closely examinates Ruri’s equipment
“I’m assuming you’re a bowman, is that correct?”
“Yeah, you’ve got it! I’m really good with aiming in shooters and stuff, but I’ve never fired a bow IRL before… so I guess that’s what practice is for!”
Ruri assesses her fellow party members.
“What do you all do?”
“You wanna make our way over there and introduce ourselves? Don’t worry, I’ve got your back in case anything goes haywire and hey, I think it’s just a new player and you’ve got a level on them anyway. You’ll be fine.”
