“Y-yeah…S-sure…Y-you take t-the lead” He gets up and waits for him to go so he can follow
Finch takes his friend’s signal, and he starts to make his way over to Madoka, Spade, and the new player Ruri, giving a friendly wave to the pack as he goes.
Youko follows Finch closely behind, with no waving
Madoka sees Finch and Youko and grins
“I thought you would stay in the forest forever.”
She laughs shortly
“Anyway, Here’s another player.”
“Ah, don’t worry about us. Just making sure everything was all good before we made our way over.”
Ruri smiles and swivels towards the two new arrivals.
“Who are you guys?”
Youko remains silent, letting Finch deal with the introductions
“Name’s Finch. I wield a sword. Next to me is Youko, I call them Yukes, he also wields a sword. Be sensitive around Yukes, though, if you will. He’s still uh, still getting used to dealing with people.”
Madoka gives a curious look to Finch
“Yukes? Is this a nickname of Youko?”
Finch shrugs.
“Yeah, he asked about a nickname, and in my infinite wisdom, I actually gave him one. Rolls off the tongue nicely, I think.”
“Heck, I could give you a nickname if you wanted. Can’t promise it’ll be any good though.”
Madoka seems pleased and makes a innocent laugh
“Please, just call me Madoka.”
“Duly noted.”
Finch turns towards Ruri.
“How about our drop-in here?”
Ruri sighs.
“Two mages and two swordsmen… where’s the love for marksmanship!? I swear, once I shed this starter gear and get a hand on a gun - I’m gonna show you guys I made the better choice, hehe~”
“We have a marksmans but they aren’t here now so…”
“W-Why w-w-would there be g-guns” Youko seems oddly quiet now
“I prefer a system where I don’t have to rely on spending coin to purchase ammunition.”
“I don’t think you can find even a gun. It’s just for the show I guess.”
“Besides, it’s not like in the real world. The game’s gonna be balanced to accommodate all types of player class archetypes. Just because a gun is OP in real life, doesn’t mean it’ll be OP here.”
“W-When c-can w-we get back to k-killing m-monsters”
“Guns don’t exist in a fantasy setting unless if you magically make it so. I found that out in a game of DnD once.” Spade looks at her staff
