Orangevitational - Aliens Win!

I’m kind of a sucker for the imagination on this read. If you’re a wolf here, Cryo, good job.

Can you elaborate a little more on this read? How exactly did they steadily improve?

:(

Like Trapsetter’s and Officer’s observations to Cryo’s wallpost. Way more nuanced than what I gave.

Also think Cryo’s observation about the wolves not being as motivated to post is a good one. I know that I was scared to rand wolf in this game - not only because you wouldn’t have a chat to shoot the shit with, but also because you wouldn’t even KNOW the identity of your wolfbro.

Why though?

I think it will be easier to explain this read if we look at it from the perspective of how student would have reacted to the pressure if they were scum. If student was scum, then they had a clear goal with their first post - to get derp cleared. However, that plan obviously failed so how would they have reacted if they were scum? Their reaction to the pressure felt too relaxed, as if it meant nothing to them. Which would be weird if they were scum, because I feel like scum would feel a little anxious their mischievous plan failed. However, they showed little emotion to the plan failing. And they just kept vibing in the thread despite the pressure.

I’ll explain later

science guy you’ve also given like ~no reads this game to be completely honest. Its pretty wolfy.

This is also how a wolf responds to a read that right for the wrong reasons.

Tl;Dr, you have the same problems as facilitator but your role is better so ive been subconsciously nicer. Ive stopped doing that tho so start being villagery or die tbh

why not now?

I think scientist is trolling tbh

Thanks, was looking for something like that.

Agreed WRT them feeling relaxed despite the “derp clear” failing and them continuing to just vibe. Would love to hear more from them considering they were only mostly around for the first 2 or so hours of the game day.

It kinda feels like the thread consensus kinda shifted against and for them at the same time though? Like pretty much everyone was hating on Student for the first, like, 45 minutes to an hour of the game day, but then as soon as I think Surveillance declared them a ML then everyone kinda shifted. Not sure how useful this observation is but it’s something I’ve noticed.

I have every reason to believe that every poster besides scientist and facilitator is town.

can we collectively agree to hammer at a certain time to get a certain sod?

idc about a SoD but I think whenever a day reaches like the 40 hour mark we should make sure to hammer before it reaches the 50 hour mark

Just as like a soft/hard cap to ensure no scrambling in the later days. If we pretend this is a 48/24 we have 4 days to play.

We should plan for roughly 6 days max which would leave us 30something hours per day, but we will probably be using less time on later days so it’s not bad to use as much of d1 as we can.

I disagree with D1 being the longest. Feel like D1 shouldn’t be the longest because we have the least amount of information on D1. Like, it shouldn’t be excessively short, but feel like we should have D2 be the longest because we will have to discuss what happened D1 and N1 at the same time

maybe
we should still use our time to decide things d1 tho

/vote facilitator

game kind of feels dead compared to early d1

sure this works

i still don’t really see cryo but they’ve improved at least

@Trapsetter are you going to use your action tonight? if not I’m going to freeze your room.
