It depends entirely on the roles, imo. My general opinion is that it benefits a W/T team to coordinate their actions if the wolf is an investigative and the town is something else. We’re talking about Trapsetter and Cryogenics here, and while Trapsetter is an offensive/protective role who can prevent visits to someone, Cryogenics is both a protective and investigative role because they can use their freeze to rule out players who went for a kill at night.
I guess what I’m really trying to say is that I think those two roles together work very well on the same team, but coordinating on opposite teams becomes a problem without somehow resulting in outing which of them is a wolf. Maybe my logic is bad or wrong, but that’s where my thoughts are at.
i actually think it might be a good idea to quickyeet. facilitator yeet is probably going to happen anyway and we have limited time. someone brought up earlier that d2+ was going to be more active because we’d have a ton of night actions to sift through, and i think that’s correct. i’d rather give us more time when we have more to work with than spend too much time doing things right now.
Usually I’d be opposed to quickyeeting but with the power thing you’re probably right. I’m fine with a Facilitator yeet although I guess I have no way of expressing an individual opinion on the slot. I haven’t really seen any posts that I thought were particularly great from them, but that’s as far as my read goes. I don’t even think they really reacted much to the wagon on them…? I can do a quick ISO and see if i change my mind, though.
Ok I read Facilitator’s ISO of a whopping 29 posts and see his readlist
Pretty sure he hadn’t even read up to the point where I entered the thread, and Coroner didn’t even pop in until after I did, so where the heck are these reads coming from if not just fabricated?
Also they 180’d on Teleporter but not in the most natural way.
They thought that they caught Teleporter scumslipping until they read the clarification and removed their vote, but never explicitly said that they townread Tele for the clarification. And yet they’ve placed Tele in their “townish” tier.
And here’s another thing.
I may be a hypocrite for saying this and also having Security in my outer PoE, but I also think that it’s a very easy slot to jump on because there’s literally nothing towny from them. I feel like if too many people have Security in their scumleans then it counterindicates that Security is probably town, but maybe it’s stupid to read the trends this early, especially before Security takes their shot.
Bottom line is that I think Facilitator’s readlist is yuck because I think there’s scum in their null tier and not necessarily in their scumreads (I know I’m not scum, and I have no clue about Coroner because they’re basically playing dead fwiw, but I don’t think Facilitator should have put both of us as scum if they didn’t actually read that far into the game where we entered the thread).
If I use the same logic as I just did with Security, maybe Facilitator is LHF instead of a wolf because of all the players piling onto them. But I just have huge issues with their readlist and it’s not just an OMGUS, they literally did not mention a read on my slot or Coroner’s even once before putting us both as scum, and the only time I saw Facilitator mention my name before that was saying they hadn’t reached the point in the thread where I’d entered yet.
The problem with Coroner right now is not just that they’ve done nothing; it’s that they’ve actively done nothing. They came into the thread and had a choice of whether they wanted to be here and play the game and they opted not to.
Theyre a big fat null for me because they have absolutely nothing other than their pop-in that I can read them off, but I expect substantially more tomorrow or else they can just die and I won’t care.
