Well yes, once again without context I would probably (regrettably) townread Security for their behaviour right now, but as we know this is how they have to play it as a wolf and they have to come across as a bullheaded unforgiving heroshooter. Blaming everyone but themselves for the shot falls in line with this.

Oh… well, never mind. Anyway, this doesn’t really seem genuine to me. It feels like they completely switched up their act of keeping it cool and blaming everyone else since their first approach wasn’t really working, so they became more apologetic. It’s also pretty misplaced seeing as how within the last hour they had no such remorse and took no responsibility for their action.

either that, or security’s a wolf with exactly student and student is exactly odd night kp. in that world, security is forced to kill among the top town because he wants to pretend kp wasn’t blocked, to save student. however, in that world, i think he’d just claim he holstered - to avoid responsibility. especially since i’d already hardclaimed not visiting eavesdropper, so he wouldn’t be caught in a lie by doing this. also, in that world, he’d probably just kill cryogenics instead, because cryogenics dying would “prove student isn’t wolf odd night kp.” that’d be beneficial to the wolves. this isn’t something any other wolfteam combination with student as odd night kp could’ve done; might as well make use of the opportunity, right?

I don’t really follow this? It’s almost impossible for us to both be wolves (with me attacking N1) from the way we’ve played this (disregarding Sympathizer, obviously). Security would have just shot and claim to have holstered to cover for me being jailed. I’m not sure why “avoiding responsibility” would be a motive for holstering here when it gets his teammate screwed over in the process?

student not posting yet makes me lean into the possibility student’s exactly the odd night wolf kp and their partner isn’t a role that could save them from cryogenics.

Sigh… it’s quite hard to see who’s pushing me for inactivity in bad faith when everyone seems to have forgotten I said I was going to be busy for the first part of the day.

judging by the alien wincon, it’s also possible wolves holstered their kill to frame student, but i don’t see why they would want to do that. especially with coroner alive if it’s town. unless the wolfteam’s exactly student (odd night kp) + coroner.

This makes no sense. Wolves holstered their kill to frame me, but you don’t see why they would do that unless I am a wolf?

I think Surveillance is still probably town, but the way they’ve been handling the situation today, while not appearing as though they have TMI, seems like it could be pretty agenda motivated. If there’s a wolf in the towncore, it’s this guy, but we’re obviously not going there yet. They did lay off me pretty easily after I got in the thread though.

Hmm, while this is bullshit, I think it’s egregiously bad to say as a wolf that someone’s townread on a villager is incorrect because they shouldn’t be thinking that I am town. A wolf would be more concerned with providing a better argument as to why I’m scum than “you shouldn’t be thinking that”.

This backtrack is pretty seriously wolfy. I’m confused as to how Security, Surveillance and Coroner all ruled out the possibility of the kills crossing over even though they addressed that it was a possibility (and a very likely one, at that). @Security @Surveillance @Coroner please could you explain?

Like some people here are just straight up willaging and forgetting there is a world where I’m town, and there is probably someone pushing the agenda that I am a wolf.

At a glance not really, I’m not really good at evaluating people with so few posts though. I don’t blame the wagon on him regardless of what alignment he ends up being

This is a pretty awful post. It offers an excuse for Security to avoid giving a read and the last statement basically concludes nothing, since he didn’t suggest who the wolf on the wagon could be.

if student is a wolf, security’s just town. in a security/student team, with student being odd night kp, security has absolutely no reason to claim the shot on eavesdropper. we’d already assumed the shot was from the aliens. security can just claim they holstered and it doesn’t out them in any way, since i’d already claimed to have watched trapsetter, not eavesdropper. (and i tmid myself as not being on eavesdropper at SoD, which wolf!security likely would’ve noticed)

You know what’s weird? Facilitator has repeatedly brought up the fact that it’s possible wolves and security crosskilled, and yet at this point they are still pretty much fully on board with me being a wolf and have shown pretty much no resistance. Since they’re trying to look good in the event of a me v flip, this would indicate that Coroner is not their partner (as they can’t lie about the flip). I do think this world makes sense, and their insistence that this is a possibility yet the fact they are hardly pushing it is indicative of TMI.
