He’s been town reading that slot all game, and he lets it go now when seemingly everyone scumreads the slot now?

It’s worth noting that I also had a townread of sorts on Fac that has been steadily downtrending throughout.
The weird thing about Scientist for me is that they haven’t been very proactive and they’ve always explained it by being “busy”.
Like they scumread me yesterday, but their townread, Facilitator, was disagreeing with them about the exact point that they were scumreading me for. Scientist said that they didn’t care about that, but now they’re being swayed by people they are thinking are town?

not sure if I mentioned it previously or not, but scientist play surrounding your resembles a wolf who doesn’t know how to let go of a scumread, but isn’t confident that they could ever case you and get you lynched. They tried to get you hammered D1 without ISO’ing you, and when D2 went around they said they weren’t voting you because they haven’t ISO’ed you yet. Despite this, you have been a consistent scumread by them, and they never actually bothered to case you.

I get it that more people are wolfreading Facilitator, but the bolded is kind of a contradiction, right?

In the first quote, Scientist is saying that they don’t pay attention if to if their townreads have different opinions to theirs. In the second quote, Scientist is very clearly paying attention to Surv and Trap having a different opinion of theirs of Facilitator.
It’s not crystal clear because Surv did die last night and as a result are effectively confirmed villager, but it is weird.
Also if Scientist is a wolf, they are essentially forced to say “same” on Cryo/Security, right? What if they said “different”?

I also found Scientist’s paranoia of not getting their check off safely because of me to also be kinda villagery though.
I disagree; as a wolf I would be looking for ways to distract protectives from certain targets. Getting the teleporter and the jail keeper occupied for a single night would be +ev for scum, and they have a plausible reason for wanting you occupied

I still think the same thing that it’s slightly villagery, but that’s because I feel like the optimal plan for scum is to say different there if we are the same alignment
they could have a different view point and could have said same because of that
