Yeah, I don’t expect to be derpcleared for that and it wasn’t my intention. I just misunderstood how the nightkill works.

change my mind

imma dip for the next 7 hours but I expect to see a mass claim by the end of the day

feel free to end day before I get back idrc

…what?

you’ve already claimed shush

You do realize this is a small town setup, which means everyone’s role is already confirmed by their account names, right?

lmao yes

just checking

shouldn’t be that hard then

i assumed this kind of thing when reading the setup already.
not sure to what extent we should create nightplans together, because 2 wolves and one lw (kinda??) exist, but yeah.
as the watcher, i expect to be killed night 1, because i can detect nightkills. i am not going to announce my target, because wolves can just dodge if i do that.

with that out of the way.

not sure if i want to accept the townslip, but i’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and say i accept it.
welcome to the masonry.

actually, retracting that.

villagery.

we are titans of ww.
hit the bricks, kid.

why? we all know each other’s roles already.

this sequence from student is super weird, because the first post implies a lack of setup knowledge, while the next one implies fairly deep setup knowledge. the “can only kill every other night” part is only one statement sprinkled into the scum wincon and would require careful reading to find. meanwhile the scumchat thing is… also one statement sprinkled into the scum wincon. how can you not know one, but know the other?

I read the first alien rolecard in between these two messages. Which is why I didn’t know about the lack of a scum chat before reading, and after reading thought that scum could only attack every other night.

knowing one assumes you read the whole thing, which would mean you also read the other one. slipping on one but not slipping on the other feels super unnatural.

Surveillance 180 is townie; Most scum hesitate when changing positions really quickly

by the way, i might as well say it in advance and ask for protection tonight. i think me and the parity cop are potentially the strongest roles we have, because i can determine if people are lying about claimed actions, and i can also see the nightkill in an ideal situation. i’ll let the protective(s) figure out if that’s what they want to do, though.

I do think that it would be a good idea to spend some time today talking about optimizing night actions. Don’t really like doing this generally because mechanics discussion is really easy for wolves to participate in, but since we won’t get much information from the execute, some coordination of night actions is probably important to win this game.

Liking Surveillance so far.

Fine with Student being wagoned to end RVS and get some meaningful discussion going, but gonna reserve judgement on their alignment until they’ve posted some more.

this is a rare situation where i can hardclaim pr day 1 and ask for protection and it’s not suboptimal in any way.

@Surveillance Did this answer your question?

This may seem really weird but II can’t really wrap my head around how we can optimize the scientist and the coroner

Those are some of the most important roles for gathering information, but if either of them are scum they can cause us to lose the game fairly quickly

not sure what to do about that besides just reading them unless anyone has any other ideas
