Now here’s a little lesson for you guys in how forum mafia works:

I do think that it would be a good idea to spend some time today talking about optimizing night actions. Don’t really like doing this generally because mechanics discussion is really easy for wolves to participate in, but since we won’t get much information from the execute, some coordination of night actions is probably important to win this game.

and here’s how a villager talks about mechanics:

I don’t know how you’re supposed to tell scum and town apart from just text, so im going to focus on mechanics.

Officer - Weak for any alignment besides mafia in lylo
Cryogenics - Pretty good. Better for town.
Scientist - Good, better for town
Security - Good role regardless of alignment. May want to leash it at least partially.
Coroner - Important role, strong for either alignment
Teleporter - Stronger for mafia than town but still has utility
Surveillance - Very strong on town, still useful for mafia but less so.
Eavesdropper - Strong on town, has utility for mafia but less
Communications - Pretty useless for all alignments, unless mafia looking to chat. Should be leashed always.
Student - Universal Backup. Good role.
Trapsetter - Better for mafia than town, still has utility as town but needs to be publicly assigned to stop town from suiciding onto it.
Facilitator - Decent utility for town, less for mafia.

Important things:

Roles that actually matter: Coroner, Scientist, eavesdropper, student. Game is based around those roles. The goal of every other role is protecting them. The security is strong but not really a part of the game dynamic
