I was re-reading the thread with a clearer mind, when I saw this conversation, and my first thought was: “Is this a TMI on Anthem?”
Quick note: I am currently reading Intensify town solely for the reason that he generates content instead of staying to lurk like many of us did.
I still don’t see why people have Eli as townlean / townread. I don’t see much from him.
–anyway, back to Kanave: When I re-realized this game has 3 newbies, I planned to give them some slack if they were to go lurking, but this one kinda looks too sus to be left unmentioned.
I think it’s sus because the tone jump from “Hi, what is your alignment?” to “Wow, this feels town” was way too quick. I cannot relate whatsoever as to why Kanave would… erm… “anti-shade”(?) Anthem as town, when Anthem’s answers look very NAI to me.
The reason why I even bother making this post is because the last post stands out to me. It’s too hedgey. “This almost feels like it comes from town.” It means nothing, but in the future it could be interpreted both ways if/when Anthem dies.
If Anthem is town and gets NK’ed, Kanave looks somewhat good for reading Anthem early as town.
If Anthem gets yeeted and flips mafia, Kanave looks somewhat good for pointing out how bad Anthem’s response is, and that it “almost reads as town” but doesn’t.
Because of this duality of interpretation, I come to the conclusion that: I do not like where Kanave is heading towards.
–at least, not when it comes to Anthem. IDK what the current gamestate is, and I am 300 posts behind, so I will hold my vote on…
Hang on, was my vote on Intensify…?
Uh… no… I think it was on Nightingale.
Yeah, that vote can stay there.
Excuse me for not reading the greater context, and excuse me for being pedantic, but what exactly do you mean by “Me & Intensify are the two people who have done the most atp”?
I blame my lack of attention rather than my short-term memory, but I don’t seem to recall you doing anything “eye-catching” compared to Intensify.
min/Intensify interaction
Short min/Appel interaction
…I can see this as a proper interaction between Emilia/min, even if it is one-sided. However, this interaction doesn’t exactly solve anything.
It makes me townread min, but it does not make me townread Emilia nor does it impact my (arguably biased) townread on Intensify.
I agree with Appel that min is soft-defending Emilia, but the way they handled the situation seems too non-opportunistic for min to be scum.
Min had the reasonable argument of “It’s useless to vote someone who isn’t even here. So you can’t even pressure them,” and they could’ve pushed for Intensify using that argument, but instead they stead on Wazza for the memes.
–cool, so that’s a townread, but I don’t see anything being solved here.
Again: I am not comfortable with this (quick) interaction and read, even if it’s a lean.
Rumpel, you remind me of someone from my homesite. Usually, we are able to read that person just by letting him live until D2 or D3, and it would be obvious what his alignment would be based on what he does or doesn’t do.
I see you are new here, so I will be lenient and help you if you have any questions to ask.
–unless it involves meta, because in that case you can ask literally anyone else for it, but not me.
This is ironic. Two people are voting my nullscum / scumlean because of her motivation to vote, rather than her conclusion.
FWIW, when it comes to motivation, I don’t think that Kanave would be scumread for it since it is rather NAI and/or generic to push for someone to pull their attention into the game.
(…excuse me, what?)
Hang on, when did Rumpel– *checks posts*
Oh, wait. This is for Windward. Never mind.
I don’t dislike the call for activity, but I sure as hell don’t like the meta of people being frozen when they rand W, because to my experience: That is just BS in this site.
