I was gonna say I can make non-meta reds but then you said effectively so weh.
I don’t think meta is really essential tho, and it probably hurts more than it does help.
With some people with polarized metas, understandably it works, but for others, meta will probably work in their favor if they know how to re-enact their town meta themselves
