You can die to challenges.
In final 2, first challenge accepted is the final one
(If you have no denies or any way to deny it will be auto accepted)
That’s if my masquerade taught me anything

Normally, it’s the first to issue a challenge who wins. However, if the opponent has a deny, they can deny the first challenge issue and counter the challenge and win if their opponent has no deny either. Just pray that you don’t leave the poisoner alive and you’re forced to do a Princess Bride situation.
