also i just spectated a monotype battle
one guy was normal type
and the other was dragon type
the dragon type dude had a bunch of legendaries

The normal type guy swept the dragon guy with just a fucking Porygon2

Just did a damage calculation. Assuming Sam was running a Max Hp, Max Special Defense Weaville (Lol, he wasn’t) and Marl’s Ninetails had absolutely no special attack investment, Dazzling gleam does a min of 37% - Which would have taken it out.

It does a min of 61% - assuming Marl has 0 special Attack investment. If it was max special attack it would do a min of 78% - having odds of 81.5% of taking out the Weaville in one hit
