I’m serious. A well balanced but boring ability is more problematic than a wacky but insanely fun ability.
This is because balance is ultimately just a matter of doing the math and making the numbers fit, so you take the fun ability and then tweak the numbers until it’s balanced.
But an unfun ability can’t be solved that way. You need to look into what makes it unfun and get at some specific core problem which can be hard to identify and fixing it usually requires a full on rework.
The CW is a great example of this.
The fundumental core gameplay loop is the most important.

I don’t like it whens things like mercenary get reworked as-long though

All I have seen recently is fixing graphics and stuff
They changed kings allies and mystic recently.

They are setting up a balance committee. So most major changes will have to wait for that
it is to the meta and game it’s pretty massive for small changes.
