This has become a common strategy when playing as a Psychic. People usually wait a few seconds and then use their link ability to catch an unsuspecting Unseen or Cult member communicating with team members. The question is - should this be possible? What do you think about implementing a slight delay before the Psychic can actually see what you talk?

Whether it’s a legit tactic or not isn’t relevant here. It shouldn’t be a tactic at all because it’s stupidly luck-relient. Besides, linking is meant to be a way of communicating and interrogating, not spying.

Actually it is, it’s an opinion on a game mechanic that I see can be used as a tactic. So it is relevant.

Actually… I disagree. Psychic is a Social Class, meaning it’s ability revolves getting claims out of people at night, this is how Psychic performs in any game they’re in. At least that I’m in.

There is something wrong. It should say A Psychic has linked minds to you and then have a 3 second delay before anything you type goes to the Psychic. It’s kinds bs at the movement of you get caught on pure luck of linking minds at right second.

I disagree with any kind of delay. Just be more careful and you won’t get caught out. Besides, I’ve seen Fool plays with fake outs like that.
Unless you have reflexes of a Korean gamer, it’s really impossible to be careful when there is 0,1s difference between notification that you are being linked and you sending a message to other Unseen/Cult members. It’s still only luck based and in my opinion doesn’t make sense.

The Plex it’s a smiliar issue to this than with RNG. These kind of things do not belong in a strategy game based on deduction and out plays. Simple as.
