The master is told when his enslavements are successful and when they are not. He also knows when a slave is freed or another master “steals” one of his slaves, though he is simply told “your slave (name) has been lost”.

The master can indeed use the execute ability if his slave is the sheriff!

I should mention that executes are resolved after other actions. If a master is shot, his commands still go through that round.

People can talk as much as they want during the entire 48 hour round. Actions and talking are done together. Players can change their actions during the course of the round if they wish, but at the end of the round, whatever their most recent action was will be the action for that round. The next round begins the instant the previous one ends.

I’ve decided to keep the sign-ups open until the start of round two. I realize this gives newcomers a slight advantage, as they may not be targeted before the end of round 1, but I really think that this game is best with as many people as possible. If we get several (like, more than 2) new players, I’ll push the scheduled start time back a day so that players can reconsider their targets.
