Player A and B are CW and ice ward eachother. Player C is a servant and tries to occupy player A, and player D is an assassin and tries to assassinate player B.
What happens? CW is not immune to occupation…

I believe the ward takes priority over the occupation
so C gets notification something prevented him from occupying A, assasain recieves notification that something prevented him from killing B.
but consider this:
Player A ice wards player Z, player B occupied player A, player C assassinates player Z
the occupation would stop the ice ward, meaning it goes first
I don’t believe it’s an “order of events” rather than a “this ability counteracts that ability”.
If you were going for some kind of realism kind of thing, just think of it as if all actions were going on in a full hour. IE butler is giving drinks to CW 1, when a wall blocks him out 10 minutes in, freeing up the CW to spend the second 50 minutes putting up a wall, and the assasain comes in during the last 5 minutes of the hour to try and perform the assasination, but is stopped by the wall that was up.
I simply think you are wrong, I am wanting a mod/guide/dev to asnwer
The occupation is prevented by player bs ice ward, therefore the assassination is also prevented
but occupation normally stops iceward?
Player a can’t be visited by the servant
New senario:
Player A and B ice ward each other, player C occupies Player A and player D occupies player B. Player E assassinates player A and player F reaps player B.
what happens?
Player a is killed, player b is reaped. Both are occupied
okay thanks, so you need BOTH to be occupied to occupy 1 of them
Strangely enough if Player A wards player B and player C debaucherys player B and Player D assassinates player C then the ward is redirected and blocks the assassin.
Only if the debauch is confirmed BEFORE the ice ward is
I know for certain that debauch will redirect an ice ward. had a long debate with a drunk once over him unknowingly causing me to fail to protect a sheriff from conversion. (I knew he was going to be converted so I warded him… drunk thought the same thing so he debauched him, net result I warded the drunk while the MM converted the sheriff.
Court Wizard isn’t indeed not immune to occupation which means Ice Ward can be stopped.
It depends which class confirms the action first. If drunk does, the ice ward is redirected, otherwise the debauch is prevented
