bastard game does mean a host can lie to you
but if a host outright lies to you most of the time thatā€™s the sign of a bad game
bastard games generally more mean ā€œunrestrictedā€ games as they arenā€™t bound by the limits to certain mechanics considered ā€œbastardā€

I expect bastard sword to be a lot closer to ToS2399 in execution than likeā€¦ anarchy FM.

And by this I mean (and I think italy put it well), generally unrestricted game with some wack-ass mechanics.

and very likely no stupid trolly shit like ā€œoh haha you thought your doctor was a vig, get fucked libtardā€ or ā€œActually you were secretly the mafia all along despite having a town card and you lose too, get fucked libtardā€

Iā€™m basically making it anything goes EXCEPT for two things.

A) Wincons remain static and they will not lie to you. If you get a rolecard and your goal is to eliminate the Mafia, no matter what happens you will win if and only if you eliminate the Mafia. They will not change nor will there be rolecards with fake wincons.

B) There are no conversions and it will be a singleball. Conversions are ruled out by point A, though while there may be 3ps there are no SKs or shit like that, and there will only be one wolf team.

These two are basially the main issue that people dislike about bastard games so with them out of the way the game should be enjoyable for people.
