Of course
half the setups are just vanilla
3 games at once?
oh?
we are getting queue moving
since itās a small setup it can be run alongside them pretty easily
My game is ready to be reviewed
Yes it is. We are just moving down the order when we can
That being said, I am still looking for co-host
Removing Star Wars FM: v1 from review queue.
I think the setup has incredibly awesome aspects to it; but itās lacking something I canāt tell.
Iām not ready to push it out until Iām confident itās to a high standard therefore I request that either someone who finds inspiration in it decides to finish it off or Iāll come back to it later after I have more experience in designing.
Thanks
havent seen it but was looking forward to it. Hope u find what ur missing in it
can i ask what era it was based on? Like Prequels, Original, Sequels, or the whole shabang
I would look at it but I donāt think I know enough about Star Wars lol
Itās either just personal preference problems
(I absolutely despise alignment cops for example. I would never, ever push even one alignment cop without mafia at least having two forms of counterplay like lawyer & a framer because I feel like AI cop isnāt skillful at all.)
or something I canāt see because of experience
I think I donāt like the fact that at least 1/2 of the player set is vanilla with a random ability. I kept using anime as a justification for a big mash with vanilla but it doesnāt feel right either.
There is probably something else Iām missing but eh
I donāt like giving people vanilla roles tbh
And no AI cops are in WoW (without them being handicapped) for that reason as well
Well I suppose Jaina is an AI cop but sheās kind of guaranteed to be evil
Revenge of the Sith (?)
Starts before Palpatine is found.
Iāve made some things up for balance aspects and to prevent flavor solving.
You can have a look at it if you donāt want to play, ever
OH so the best film in the series
The last Jedi right
My favourite character ever in SW is Darth Sidious/Palpatine
again its kinda like a numbers game. Theres no right answer. Jojos was gonna have like 8 different cops. Not all checked allignment but i found it was to much info. U kinda want to give the scum team options more than counters imo. Like sure a godfather stops Allignment cops as direct counter, but it doesnt stop the godfather from being watched. Thats where roleblocks and other useful abilities for scum come in. The more options they have the better as long as everyone isnt a joat. Spreadin abilities out so everyone feels like a team is solid. Self frames to appears as the good guys is solid. You just need to make sure things are fun and balanced.
I also learned less is more. If ur making a closed setup less is more. If u look at jojos to Insurgency the card size is comparible, but more of it was passives than anything in Insurgency when a huge amount in jojos was abilities. That not only made it harder to balance as people could do multiple things and cause balance to not see things. I think like everyone had two day abilities and two night abilities in jojos most of the time. there were exceptions, but in insurgency I tried keeping it to one ability, maybe two if they were loverised lol.
It takes playtesting and feedback from others. I wouldnt be afraid to try it out if I were you, but like imo make it fun first, and balance it after, then submit it to review. Make things ur proud of u know
alignment cops are really fuckin uninteresting design
have them if you need them, but other roles are preferable
