Random convert did not work

As CL after three failed converts, random convert didn’t happen even though multiple targets were alive that could have been converted.

I’m pretty sure it is only Mastermind who has the random conversion mechanic. CL can be convert blocked into oblivion.

I don’t think so since it says this on wiki next to brainwash:

Attempt to Convert a player to the Cult. There may only be four Cult members at a time.

  • Unlimited Uses, but 1-day cooldown.
  • After failing to convert twice in a row, if your next conversion would fail it will instead target a random convertible player.

Well, you cannot convert someone who is

  1. shielded by a merc
    2.imprisoned
    3.(only as CL) tornado’d to a cult member
    4.barriered by CW
    5.dead(reaped)
    6.unconvertable(neutral, Prince)

Also, as MM, I’ve had my third conversion fail due to getting occupied and having it bypass immunity (fairly sure I tried to convert a partying butler) and not getting a free random convert.

Maybe you got really unlucky and all these things happened

It does say “There was no one alive that you could convert”
