Game Crashed when I was jailed, trying to type will and can no longer boot the game. Every time I do it gives me a crash message or doesn’t display.
Play the game.
Boot up the game, get through resolution options, if I then press maximise (windowed fullscreen) then crashes otherwise the game hangs on a pure white screen.
Can’t attatch the logs because new user.
Try validating files or re-installing the game. If that’s not it we will need your logs. (if you have saved them somewhere else post them, giving you permission now)
Heyo, just posting the three logs from the three different crashes I encountered. First was initial crash whilst in Jail, second was crashing when opening to fullscreen windowed mode and third was crashing when left in window sitting on unresponsive white screen.
Also quick question, I won’t get banned/reprimanded for leaving the game because of the crash like this will I? Sorry new to ToL in general.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the game via Steam, still encountering the same issue, verified the game files and am still currently crashing.
From the very few things I know, it seems like you have some kind of issue with your graphics.
What version of DirectX do you have and is it properly installed? Do you run other games with DirectX 10 and 11 without any issue?
Yep, I’ve got DirectX 12 installed and have had no problems running a bunch of other games. It does boot using Vulkan so yeah much be something with DirectX, I’ll try reinstalling just to be sure it isn’t a borked installation.
Vulkan is the way for you then!
