[RESOLVED] Pink screen instead of game menu

What happened: Pink Screen appeared instead of game menu

What was SUPPOSED to happen: Game was supposed to start normally

Steps to reproduce this issue:

  1. Start the game
  2. Pink screen appears

My drivers are all up to date and i doubt my computer cannot run this game…

Was it the first time running the game?

Yes.

  1. Have you tried restarting the PC since this happened? Maybe you have pending driver updates.

  2. Have you tried updating your drivers?

These Shader Unsupported messages are showing through a big part of the log

You only have DirectX 9?

Seems lke that from the log… dxdiag tells me i have Dx11…

Try validating the game files. If that doesn’t work you might have an issue with your DirectX. The game doesn’t support DirectX 9 since DirectX 9 doesn’t really support 3D games if I remember correct.

I have a strong feeling that you are not launching the game through Steam. Can you please provide the logs in the screenshot above, if you are launching from Steam?

Neither validating or reinstalling the game helps… I am launching the game from Steam.

You need DirectX 11 for the game. Either your DirectX drivers are broken or your graphics card has some issue, I think.

ill try to install DX11 and see if it is supported.

Seems that it’s equiv. to an Intel HD 3k. I believe our min. req’s are intel HD 5500ish? Or close to that
