[RESOLVED] Steam vrs asking for update

What happened:
I bought the game, launched it and its asking for an update. Steam is not offering to update. Says I require v1.0.0b but at the bottom right it says Im on v1.0.0c

What was SUPPOSED to happen:
Im guessing its supposed to be playable or atleast offer to update to a playable version

Steps to reproduce this issue:

  1. launch game
  2. clicking on steam 1-click login

What kind of computer are you using?

Sometimes Mac or Linux have a hours delay of update…

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. But I dont know how to “force update”

Try restarting Steam and seeing if it updates – we JUST patched, then reverted it due to a critical issue with chat. That’s why it’s asking for a lower version. The hotfix will return in < 1 hour, heads up. NOW actually

The Easy Way – Restart Steam

The Faster Way– Right click ToL in Steam library >> properties >> local files tab up top >> verify integrity of game files (forces a patch, if available)
