I feel like i’ve said this in the last however many games i’ve been in with Gorta, mostly just because he got wolfread way too easily in Umineko because his WiM was so high, and then he said if people were going to activity read him, he’d just slank as any alignment…

brain initially thought these were a good look for Gorta since she’s trying to discredit townreads on him but I thought more about it and realistically I think it’s NAI, she’s not even really pushing him and I don’t think it’s outside the realm of what could be distancing (particularly since Gorta is pretty bussable as scum)

yeah, basically my thoughts. I don’t think it’s too hard to read him from his posts, when he posts, but I get the feeling a lot of people are just like “Gorta made reads? Must be a wolf” and it’s… bad.

I misread the posts quoted above as trying to discredit townreads on him, given the clarification I think she was actually trying to discredit scumreads on him which is a bit of a worse look for him

I’m skipping over a decent number of interactions that I don’t really think are AI in either direction, like, ‘wow Wind called Mist town? does that make Mist a wolf?’ is … not actually a good read …

other than that, I’m a little concerned App was attempting to pocket me? but he kind of went back on that after reading my ISO without all the other posts in reply, so maybe not.

reading how he treated other slots so far, I agree with his Marl read although nothing is really a new take there. His take on Chloe is ~fine but doesn’t really stand out either way so far, except for the mindmeld claim, and I guess I’ll leave that for Chloe to discern. I think the only non-consensus reads I see from him so far are on Mist and me, but he explained both of those and it looks like he handled them ok (although idk about the redacted reason for TRing Mist, but I guess when the time comes, if the time comes, he’ll probably elaborate). Anyway I’m gonna hold my read on him where it is till I get a better feel for his alignment.

This post feels partnery, the accusation of pocketing is something I sometimes do with my own partners if I want to slightly distance from them without really committing, and the way that she doesn’t actually make a read on him despite making a bunch of comments about him pings me as likely to be W/W

I think Marl’s reasoning on Derps/YBW not being w/w is a logical take because of the way Derps jumped on the wagon, and since YBW kind of hasn’t done much, although I think the openwolfing could have been real, the slot is probably a better vig shot than a wagon at the moment. Derps’ activity in the thread while I was away just seemed weird, particularly in his interaction with Marshal where he just said to ignore Marshal until she went to sleep.

the thing is that I didn’t get the feeling Derps was scum from his earlier posts. He seemed pretty natural in the thread. but looking back on it I’m wondering if he was posting a lot of filler content because he has a higher postcount than I do, and yet there’s not actually much substance until his read on Marshal.

then a while later, he actually does start pushing on Marshal and encourages Sulit to join him on the wagon. Changes vote to Eli, then decides App’s slot is a policy yeet and votes YBW.

I’m not going to bother quoting the rest of these kinds of posts but Derps just jumps to discredit whatever Marshal is saying because Marshal is sleep deprived, what? It’s completely possible to make reads while sleep deprived I say as I do the same thing and it’s also a very dumb thing to grab onto to discredit someone as a counterargument. I find that Zone is also aligned with his late-game quantum mafia self, and he was wolf there

on the other hand nothing particularly stood out to me in his ISO so if Marshal found something, I’d like to hear it

this feels like a mildly good look for Zone because of how she’s discrediting townreads on him without reallllly taking responsibility

Overall conclusions

I think Wind’s spew is a really good look for Derps because of how she basically did nothing the latter half of her Iso but tunnel his slot, and a slightly good look to varying degrees for Chloe/Marl/Zone for smaller interactions that don’t really feel W/W. I think it’s a worse look for YBW because of how she repeatedly shades him but never actually pushes him despite saying that she would vote him/most wants to vote him. None of the other interactions made me feel super strongly either way, it ?might? be possible to get more out of some of them but none of them were really tugging me in either direction.
