If I understand the claim correctly, Arete gets results based on the following:

  • Their ability/flavor is related to time
  • They can kill people
  • They can heal/delay people

The first is obviously NAI, but Vigilantes and Doctors are both strong Town roles.

As a Town Investigative, I think most results they could get would not be very AI (Unless “Having access to the factional kill” counts).

I don’t see it being useful other than for catching people in fakeclaims and kat is probably the worst target you could possibly select for that.

Okay I know I said I was going to sleep and I swear I’m about to but I feel like this ignores, like, the five-vote flashwagon on me yesterday + the fact that there are like three or four total votes on the VC now

(and some subset of the wolves are probably repping a townread on me and can’t reasonably pivot, like just statistically, enough people are doing that that probably at least one is a wolf)

I don’t know how to say this in a way that doesn’t sound rude but have you considered the possibility that your case just … isn’t very good/is mostly pretty easily refutable and that’s why no one is sheeping you

Because I didn’t trust Marshal and healed you.

It’s not like this was blatantly obvious because of my reaction to kat’s fakeclaim (and me thinking Marshal’s claim was likely to be fake despite nobody else having claimed to have potentially blocked the factional kill at that time)

And I just slipped again so it’s probably best that I just claim at this point.

i dont think this is unlikely given i currently V read both and kinda think Marshals claim is in firmly the realms of “hard to believe” and “a thing marshal would FPS”

why are these two different scenarios if the actually important part is “gorta did the factional”

repeating the same point doesn’t make it more correct or likely

whats funny is “drop shield on X” usually maens “i am shielding X” from my experience? which feels backwards!

I’m not saying Marshal isn’t a good lynch. I’m saying Arete/gorta are more likely to be a hit.

If people aren’t willing to lynch Arete yet because ???, gorta works too! Even Marshal isn’t a bad lynch and I’m realistically voting them over anyone that is not Arete/gorta at EoD.

Hm… I am listening to you, and it doesn’t seem that sulit will be responding any time soon either…

I recently already stated why I don’t prefer to vote gorta, as for Arete…
I don’t exactly want to execute the players who are scumreading Marshal as I do. Compared to everyone else who “doesn’t like Marshal”, Arete is one of the few who actually votes her.
