I just woke up so hopefully my thoughts are coherent enough here lol
I… didn’t give a take on Gorta lol. I just didn’t want people to unintentionally push him out of the thread so that he’d get an easy townread. Because that’s not fair to him, nor is it fair to us.
I do think Mist’s takes look reasonable right now, even if I don’t agree with all of them. She’s given an explanation on each of her reads so far, and I think she’s been pretty active in interacting with and analyzing the thread, instead of taking a backseat to things and throwing reads around without actually getting involved. Townlean so far.
I have no idea if Chloe ever mimics this uncertainty as a wolf, but I saw her do it in Shortnight 2 and she was town, and I wouldn’t generally think a wolf would express uncertainty already this early in the game? I would expect more of an agenda push until there’s a misyeet and then “my reads must have been bad” after that point, not before, because saying it now just undermines the agenda push. Anyway, Chloe can be town for this.
Sorry if I missed them, but did you give reasons earlier for wanting to push me? I know Chloe, Sulit, Katze and Mist did, but I don’t remember seeing too much from you unless I missed something when backreading.

On that note, Marl hasn’t had much thread presence, and the presence he’s had wasn’t super impressive, but I’m holding my read on him till I see more. I don’t want to put a read on him this early for… reasons.

My correct read rate on Derps is awful lol. The only time I read him right I decided I was probably wrong, reversed my read, and yote him. I’d rather hold my read on him for a bit, but I’m inclined to townlean him so far for his comfort in the thread and actually doing productive things.

I was gonna read more into the Arctic vs. Min thing but I ultimately decided that it resembles what happens every time town!Arctic tunnels someone, regardless of their alignment, so that’s why I just stopped with my read there. Didn’t want to read min off it too much because they were being hard pushed and would have reacted badly as town or as scum imo, especially because I’ve seen town!min react just as badly to pressure as scum!min does.

not sure about that, they’d probably try to be careful in an attempt to imitate their v/v interactions
more importantly however, i think marl would have a lot more wim if he randed scum with windward

by this i mean, they probably wouldn’t overextend in their interactions out of concern for it appearing fake/exaggerated
either way, there isn’t too much interaction which is probably due to something going on with marl that i don’t know about
