That’s fair criticism, what would you suggest to change? An arbitrary number of dead killers by the end of the game? Like 5 or 6?
That’s the fool’s job. There is a difference albeit it’s a subtle one. However late game you don’t need a neutral to encourage false accusations. Conversions mean more framing is happening then and scum have more reason to accuse someone anyways.
Well first things first. Give her a day defile (replace decide fate) and tell her who her targets are from D1
Also keep her type as social
TBH just replace both day Ability’s with a day defile and Trollbox
Lastly remove the once per person limitation of SG
I like the Defile idea, but I am not at all a fan of the Trollbox and I would rather give her abilities that interact with other classes and provide more strategic depth.
Start with the defile then. That’s the big one. Also she NEEDS to know who her targets are at the start
Defile the prince
Ez
Did you just assume their gender?
No. Her gender is Cannon
I am not opposed to that, but wouldn’t that require a rework of Sense Guilt?
Yes. Get on that
Don’t you mean Canon.
No, Cannon.
We created another gender.
Changelog:
- Decide Fate replaced by Blood On Their Hands, an automatic Defile.
- Sense Guilt finds people who can kill at night, to allow the Scorned to find targets for Weight of Guilt. It doesn’t protect its targets anymore, works one player at a time and can be used on the same player more than once.
- Specter of Justice only works on wincon targets now.
- Scorned knows her targets from the start.
- Alternative wincon reduced to surving to see her targets + 6 players who can kill at night dead by the end of the game.
She still looks more Investigative than Social to me at a glance, and helps give her better protection from nosy Princesses.
and if less than 6 spawn?
It counts converted classes as well, so if Neutral Killer, Knight, starting King and 3 assassins (plus her 2 targets) are dead by the end of the game, she wins.
Only starting King counts as a killer, though (and Psycho King, of course).

On a serious note, the Scorned is fine the way she is right now, albeit she could be slightly buffed as her winrate is a bit low.
Resolve (Passive) - Immune to death at night, occupation and target changing.
IMO, the current Resolve needs to be a hidden immunity ala the Mastermind as you’re supposed to claim an Investigative class but this completely goes out the window if a Butler or Drunk finds you.
Blood On Their Hands (Day) - If one of your targets is executed today, their journals will be wiped and they will appear as an Assassin or Cult Leader (automatic depending on the game type). - Infinite uses.
Too binary as either too strong or too useless. You can basically confirm yourself by executing your target and this ability will only work for you if the target is already executed. Also
ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ ADD TROLLBOX or RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ
Weight of Guilt (Day) - [Unavailable without valid target]. Choose a player that you know can kill at night. Tonight, if they attempt to kill a target, their attack will be prevented. If you accuse a player that is your target or you know can kill at night, and they are executed, you gain an additional use of this ability. - 1 use.
This ability is useless. And again, there is not need for the Scorned to have a kill prevention ability, especially as the secondary goal would benefit more from as much killing as possible. Also
ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ ADD TROLLBOX or RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ
Sense Guilt (Night) - Visit a player. You will know if they can kill at night. - Infinite uses.
This ability, and the secondary goal by extension are extremely clunky and also a hard-counter against NKs and the Cult. The Scorned is an anti-BD class but in the event that your target dies then it becomes a weird mish-mash of anti-Cult, anti-NK, with a side of trying to get the Prince and Hunter, and even possibly Alchemists, killed while also being night immune. To top it off, to use this ability effectively basically means that you have to out yourself as a Scorned, an anti-BD class, in order to get them executed. I see no possible scenario where Sense Guilt could work out. Also
ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ ADD TROLLBOX or RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ
Specter of Justice (Night) - You will guard one of your targets, preventing them from death at night. They will also appear unfavourably to investigative abilities used on them that night. - 3 uses
IMO, the night immunity effect should also be part of the frame. The Scorned’s major issue right now is their targets dying too early and this should fix that issue. Albeit the target player should not get a notice if they are attacked as this would out the Scorned too easily. Also
ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ ADD TROLLBOX or RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ
Survive to see both of your targets executed during the day. You lose your abilities when you win. If either or both your targets die at night, you win by surviving to see your targets and at least six players who can kill at night dead by the end of the game.
As said before, the goal is extremely clunky. The class goes from being an anti-BD neutral to some weird class that needs to get several classes killed, including the Prince, Assassins, CLs, and the NK, without any killing ability it all.
Overall this idea is downright terrible as you’re trying to merge two different classes, being the original Scorned along with a anti-Killer one, and you essentially have two halves of a class instead of a whole one.
I’d recommend you separate this into two different classes rather than attempting a hybrid neutral.
