“Again? Ill be there asap”
- “Good,” Lieutenant Asriel said. “Over and out.”
Simmons arrives, slightly out of breath
Leo looked at Simmons. He had questions, but didn’t dare ask any.
- Asriel unlocked one cell, where a D-Class in orange overalls was sleeping. He woke up as you looked down at him.
Asriel muttered to Simmons, trying to whisper but speaking slightly too loudly, “You know what to do. Dump the body in the incinerator.”
- The D-Class — D-904 — stood up. “I’ve done one month. Can I go now?” He asked. He walked out to join the group.
Simmons had a sad and sorry look on his face “Yes you can, come with me”
- He had an expression of awe. He looked at Leo. “It’s dangerous here, but just… just try, and you’ll succeed. It can even be fun here.” He walked with Simmons.
- Asriel turned to Leo. “In the cell now, boy,” he said. “Come on.”
Leo smiled. He was still handcuffed, but he had a plan. “But of course,” he nods his head, stepping into the cell. He was sure D-904 was dead, but he wasn’t. Not yet.
Night time begins.
Curfew is in place -
D-Class to be shot on sight.
she stops spacing out and turns to Mach
“Guess everyone left while I was spacing out”
simmons comes in to the conference room, he sits down "Man this job sure sucks sometimes*
“What happened this time?”
“Had to kill another D-class, I hate that we lie to them”
“At least that they aren’t fully “clear” helps”
“Did they try to run away again?”
“No, they thought they were getting out. Full month served and all that”
she keeps quiet for a while before speaking again
“It’s not like we could change that”
“If we didn’t do this someone else would”
Simmons lets out a deep sigh “yep, thats the part that sucks the most”
Leo finally — finally — freed himself from the handcuffs. His wrists were raw and bleeding, his eyes were bloodshot — but he had one tool over the guards.
He pulled his orange sleeves down over his wrists. The overalls were on his bed when he came in. He dropped it under his bed and tried to catch some sleep.
Day 2 begins!
Curfew over
- “Please obey your superiors at all times,” A speaker overhead drones in the D-Cells.
