I mean, i got an IC that wants me dead, and refuses to re-eval any of her reads at all, we got SDA, Eli, and Atlas who have dropped off hard, 3 slots, all who are good/great players that i believe are atleast minimum 2 wolves, and then on my side i have hippo and Arctic,

its essentially like 6v3, with Derps kinda just there on my side i think, but hes been inactive as fuck so meh

I see no reason to keep talking, because I’ll just keep rehashing what I’ve already said. I think it’s either Blizer/Derps/Eli or Marshal/Arete/Arctic with no real in-between. I think Hippo and Atlas are both just town regardless of the world.

Already outlined Blizer/Derps/Eli. Marshal/Arete/Arctic is a world I put together for the exact situation Blizer is V and we’ve been chasing an all-village PoE because wolves have been powerwolfing and are in the towncore. Which would fit a Marshal/Arete/Arctic world. Arctic is in the towncore, and lol/Marshal have been pushing things a fair bit.

I have a sinking feeling he’s just town here. Sure, he’s made no alignment reads unprompted, but he’s never had this problem as a wolf before. He asked to be killed over an outed wolf for no reason. He continually draws attention to himself through his emotional posting. He spends the majority of his entrance posts complaining about how he’s being read incorrectly. It’s super irrelevant, it derails the thread, but I’m hard-pressed to think it actually comes from a wolf. If Marl is a goon, this is the wolf PR we are talking about, and he plays like this? This whole shtick about being read incorrectly early game is completely unnecessary, and him continuing not to provide worthwhile content while pressured feels like he’s stubborn town who insists on doing this for personal reasons.

I’m not saying it’s good, nor am I encouraging this, I simply don’t think it’s how PKR would play this game as a wolf.

The only time wolf PKR resorted to AtE was when it would help him self-preserve. Here, what he’s doing is basically the opposite of that. He’s digging a hole under himself and he knows it. You’ve been on his case for an insane amount of time and he should’ve figured out why you scumread him by now, yet he’s still posting in this strange way. This isn’t a PKR doing this to survive, it’s a PKR who’s doing this for… reasons. But certainly not “keep myself alive” reasons.

You could argue it’s WIFOM, but wolves don’t have a N1 roleblocker and Marshal asked to shoot him. I don’t expect PKR to do this kind of thing as a wolf.

He asks to get shot by the vig night 1, he asks why he’s not getting yeeted over an outed wolf day 2… his teammates wouldn’t let him do this if he were wolfing. His conscience wouldn’t let him do this if he were wolfing. If he’s town, this is all explained because he doesn’t feel a sense of obligation toward the town. To him, we’re all persecuting him and misreading him and he’s offended. It’s unfortunate, but it tracks.

Derps is in his townmeta. I’m pretty good at reading him historically, so I’m banking on being correct this time as well. The reason he’s in his townmeta is the fact his ISO is low on content and he hasn’t really tried to change that at any point whatsoever. This is town indicative of Derps, because mafia Derps likes to post some reads every now and then at least. Besides, I’d expect him to be more invested in the game if he were mafia.

Eli is town because the density of actual reads and worthwhile takes in his ISO is higher than it would be if he were mafia. I checked the BOTF game he played as scum, and the postcounts are similar, but the content density is different.

PKR is someone I flipped my read on overnight, because his early ISO is pretty terrible. Even if I assume his mental state is not the best, he offers almost no thoughts of his own unless prodded. When Arctic prods him about the reasoning behind his Chloe read, PKR clams up and doesn’t provide a decent explanation. He spends many of his early posts complaining about being voted, and almost never offers insights on the gamestate/people’s alignments/literally anything unless told to do so. This isn’t a villager who feels boxed in, this is a wolf whose thread position is terrible and who has no idea how to climb out of the hole.

Hmmm, Flipping his read on PKR even though he actually gave an acurate town read on PKR’s Mentality but it changed over night, Hmmmm.

Marshal is a strong wolf, and since she is a strong wolf, I expect her to make strong plays. I’ve talked about the Marl read thing before, and while my reasoning was based on a post that didn’t exist, Marshal did talk a lot about how Marl was likely town, continuing into day 2. The fact her read wasn’t predicated on CRich’s flip to begin with doesn’t mean anything here. I haven’t loved the way she played the early game, her posts read like a wolf trying to fit into the thread and figure out what she can do. Marl taking over for Marshal’s push I interpreted as W/W originally but I don’t think it’s that clearing upon re-reading. I think it’s viable from wolf partners as a distancing move and cooperative move simultaneously. (Same push target, seemingly different read sources.) Her reaction to my push on day 2 was also pure AtE and waxing poetic about hypotheticals when it doesn’t bring anything to the game. When I backed out of my read, she had an oddly careful reaction to it and to evaluating me further; I think it’s indicative of her being unsure how to treat her read on me after everything that happened.
lol is actually my least confident wolfread on the list. I did some meta hunting, and the complexity of lol’s thought in this game seems relatively high compared to the wolfgame(s) I’ve seen from him. The main reason I don’t townread him, aside from his mentions of wanting to get yeeted, is the fact he could easily be powerwolfing with his reads. Not only are most of his takes poorly reasoned, but he’s not very transparent with his thought process. His reads look more like he’s steering the thread than actually believing in what he says. He reevaluates depending on how the thread goes, but seldom comments on it, either. Having said all this, though, I think he’s the most likely player of these four to actually be a villager, and I would flip him last if I had my way.

I think this is a very real possibility and even if you flip me (and thus don’t see Blizer’s flip) you shouldn’t ignore it.

Gamestate reasons. The game feels like it’s either in the stage of “we’ve finally narrowed it down and it’s time for wolf flips” or “we’ve been wrong the entire time because wolves are towncored.” Flipping Blizer resolves that to me because the slot holds a unique position.

If world #1 is correct, it’s the loudest wolf voice and flipping it solidifies the first world. Derps vote looks very partnered then. Treatment of Eli looks partnery, because of Blizer omitting Eli from his ‘kill list’ after saying he doesn’t like Eli.

If world #2 is correct, he flips village, but he never flips PR, so we don’t lose an IC. Aside from that, we know that most of the PoE has contained villagers and the “towncore” needs to be re-evaluated. While I think Atlas and Hippo are super towny regardless (and I didn’t townread them from the start), Arctic merits re-evaluation (because of his insistence on pushing on town). Marshal and lolslots do as well (because of the sheer amount of posting they’ve done and the thread heading into three village yeets - there have to be wolves in there, because the alternative is wolves doing absolutely nothing and that almost never happens).
