I have decided that analyzing Eli/Atlas interactions to make it easier to decide tomorrow who to vote is less valuable than doing things that will help me vote right today

I think the way Atlas has been playing today makes them unaligned with a wolf, unless you think they are aligned with me, and I know I’m town.

If marshals bad, it’s either me and Marshal, vul and Marshal, or eli and Marshal. Second is proven wrong mechanically, and Marshal would’ve just voted eli because they knew vul was gonna side with me

Most social deduction games doesnt allow you to talk at night, unless atlas literally only plays like what…untrusted? You can talk at night in that game iirc It just seems very unneeded in my opinion not to be like “xdxd derpclear denied lockscum” because they do seem new I just ? Idk I dont like that question

Overall … there’s obviously nothing that lets me rule out a Marl/Atlas team. I think a Marl/Eli team is maybe less likely from Marl spew, but not like a lot less likely since I think Marl would be generally willing to bus Eli. However I do think his attempt to tie Eli to Marshal makes Eli/Marshal less likely to be W/W, tying your partners together is just stupid especially when one of them is Marshal who is an actually competent wolf.

Marshal/Eli makes a lot of sense on the level 1 ‘Marshal is pushing for Atlas to die over Eli’ level but there are several different angles that make me think it’s not Marshal/Eli

For me the more telling thing is Marshal townreading Eli pretty hard and Marl trying to shut it down right away. There was also the time Marshal abandoned her push on Chloe and Marl picked it right back up.

If Marl/Marshal are wolf partners, Marl is playing around Marshal in a really weird way, denying her townreads on a partner in that world (?) and parroting her push once she’s abandoned it (??).

Unless they are intentionally trying to unalign themselves day 1, this doesn’t really fit a wolf mindset.

Also, Marshal talks a lot about Marl and townreads him hard, yes… but Marl barely talks about Marshal, at all. He’s not interested in engaging with Marshal whatsoever. This feels more like “okay, this villager townreads me, better not fuck this up by saying something wrong in our interactions” and not “my wolf partner is townreading me, I don’t have to respond to that.”

I’m not actually sure if one-sided interactions between people, even if consistently onesided, say much about their alignment pair. I’ve never used that read before, but.
