Apparently “Weaponizing a Mod” is when you see someone is breaking the rules in the thread and you mention it in your class card
Its a completely stupid rule which makes no sense at all, it punishes the reporter instead of the reported person, it’s basically to protect rulebreakers
What
That’s not what weaponizing mod is
Oh sorry, this is how I got it explained by Solic as I got warned for “mod-weaponizing” once (and I think my lengthy rant about it in the class card led to him changing his mind again?)
Different definitions I suppose.
Reporting rulebreaks is actually a super important thing to do since it keeps things from blowing up as easily

No. You urged me to take action against it. There is a difference between:
Host, player x is breaking rule y
Host, use z measure against player x breaking rule y. (In your case, you said to please do “something” about player x breaking rule y)
The former is obviously encouraged and I think I typically thank players that have brought up concerns before. This especially counts for invisible things for the hosts like initiating outside of game communication.
The latter is really bad, because you have a stake in the game and cannot form an objective opinion depending on the violation, nor is it your call to make as not the arbiter of game rules: the host. Some hosts (like myself) can cave into pressure, so I shut the slightest hint of that down immediately, especially after a certain game, where I was attempted to be blackmailed.
Please do something against this massive spam. It isn’t bearable anymore.
I never said to take action against a player, but I see where are you coming from.
Yea, it was edge
sorry for bringing this up
