I never got the chance to read gorta properly because I mostly didn’t understand his area
Probably was town though thinking about it now
The main thing that bugs me about Gorta kill is that as far as I can tell, they weren’t widely town read.
Scum choosing them over someone else such as min is a headscratcher to me.
I have a theory as to why Gorta was chosen and it’s because they may have softed their role D2 as pointed out by AtNo.

Ooooo, it might be big-brain read that gorta was vig.
Now that you think about it, as I said - previous janitor could only clean people of randomly selected class.
If that was some hunt for a vig to clean him and make space in setup this way… well, it’s either very lucky or someone specially hunted for it.
