I had to download Discourse to get the FoL app.
All it’s really done is given you a shortcut. It’s not really an app.
I don’t have the discourse app. I have a “tol” app on mobile that opens FoL for me.

It’s honestly just a shortcut.
I’d remove it from your phone in all honesty.
Let you keep your browser’s features. It’s much more convenient.
On that note I’ve just realised I have the app downloaded and I am not even using it.
Going to uninstall it now.

Yeah, it’s just running it through their own webpage. All you have is an additional browser on your phone limited to one website.
Just create a shortcut via chrome/firefox.
