On that note I’ve just realised I have the app downloaded and I am not even using it.
Going to uninstall it now.

Yeah, it’s just running it through their own webpage. All you have is an additional browser on your phone limited to one website.
Just create a shortcut via chrome/firefox.

I use google chrome and firefox altogether.Is that illegal?
Firefox is an open source browser with enhanced privacy features, three versions of the browser (Nightly (beta) + some other trash, privacy oriented). They’re coming out with new features quickly and is heavily customizable. They’re even releasing a new password vault shortly (they already have one but this one is more high-tech and advanced).
Chrome is not open source and therefore will have a much longer time finding bugs in your browser.
If there is somehow a one-day vulnerability in chrome’s vault and they manage to download + dehash your passwords then don’t come running to me when you didn’t use Firefox so they couldn’t spot + prevent vulnerabilities.
I’m obviously not a professional so people can correct me if they are in the field of computer science.
