when I look at Marshal’s play here it … makes more sense from a town PoV than a scum one? he was fairly townread going into this, hardclaiming a redcheck on a townie (which would immediately get him lynched if inaccurate) seems like not the sort of thing that would make sense for him to do as scum when he could just … push lynches the normal way

whereas if he had a lead on Centuries, faking a different lead seems like totally within the range of possibilities for him to do (I’ve done similar plays to decent effect)

the thing that doesn’t make sense to me is how ridiculously over-the-top he went with how he wasn’t going to rescind (the mullet thing) if it was a reactiontest
