My point was that you were the one who interacted with Arete prior to the death, and when you think about why they chose that timing to kill Arete you look into people who were either around or talking to him.
If you were telling your partners about him from neighborhood chat, I could see that world where the timing makes more sense for mafia to kill him.
I find it weird they kill him so early on, I would have to assume the mafia knew his role because why else use a strong dayvig so early
Of course I am not satisfied with that?

Anyone who thinks they are deciding ITA targets based on reads half way through day one are never going to win as the town alignment.

I thought you used it to gain information? For example if you are sure that there’s a TvW going on you would shoot one and decided whenever to lynch the other or not depend on they flip etc. That’s how I remember it anyway

Disagree with this philosophy on principle.
As town you shouldn’t care about how you would be perceived as scummy if you want to do something that you think will help town.
