As counterpoint to the thing about neigborhood: if Marshal were scum, he’d know as fact that his reasoning about Lime learning Arete’s flip would be debunked very easily. It felt more to me like he didn’t know tbh.

This I liked to some very small extent - the fact that he used his own post as an example of towniness slightly implies that he has conviction in his posts actually being townie.
