I’d actually like to play again but I won’t if reaching 22 seems impossible
Luxy’s opinion is irrelevant. He dies N1 anyway.
Also, who’s willing to bet that somebody will claim day 1 despite the existence of anticlaim mechanics? And even more people will soft day 1.
it always happens
So does N.1 die Luxy?
And I don’t know why.
Looming Threat was the highlight. Anti-claim was announced to be in play day 1 and 80% of players had claimed by the end of day 2.
I hadn’t.
which is why you should be sulit, and always forget to soft your claim.
I’m honestly not sure why softing your claim is so encouraged. It’s not like anyone’s going to thunderdome you unless you’re a unique class. And softing gives the wolves room to kill you without the villagers knowing you were X role.
If it’s like “wolves won’t soft their claim because it locks them into a claim” then it’s just bullshit. Take two looks at Marshal’s wolfgame to notice how and why it doesn’t work that way.
Tbh Marshal’s softs are just so soft that he could probably claim any class and then fabricate one.
This is what I do as wolf
Well actually I try to soft a specific class but can bullshit it as anything really
Crumbing makes sense if you’re in a setup with only 1 PR of several kinds, or 1 PR in general. Like in cop 13ers or something. I don’t see why it would be necessary in setups that are closed or have multiple PRs that can roll with no limit.
Sfol53 was the exception.
But that was a fake soft to support a hunter claim
And I ended up going with it anyways
Well it “locks you into a claim” and if ur town and ur softs are as unreadable as mine they aren’t gonn get ya killed, so no reason to do them anyways.
And as scum it’s free shitty towncred
Religious Fervor not being in play was totally a real reactiontest that made sense.
Yeah, “locks you into a claim.” Not really if you’re clever with it.
Well that’s the point
I can prove what I was going for as town, but also keep options open as scum
Yeah, your softs are good and should also prove that softing really isn’t all that meaningful. In fact, I’d say it’s detrimental.
Honestly, the only soft I think should be done is a night action target soft, or day action target soft. In games with no logs, doing that makes sense, because otherwise nobody will know who you targeted before you died.
And in games with janitors, it makes sense to soft everything too. But in other cases, there really isn’t much of an incentive, is there?
See but I don’t think anyone has ever picked up on them and so it doesn’t really hurt
And I’m botc2 I actually didn’t mean to soft anything but accidentally did and it gave me towncred and might have lead to a W
